Johnson is a name at Providence Day School to keep an eye on at 99th in the latest rankings update. He’s a big man who’s shown his consistency in the painted area as a rebounder, rim-protector and finisher in traffic over the past few seasons. He’s due for a strong senior year as a two-way presence in the frontcourt with offers from Howard, Denver, Air Force and Navy.

Johnson had a strong weekend at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge with Providence Day as they went 2-0 on the weekend. His first double double of the year came on Friday against Mallard Creek, followed by leading his team with 14 points in a win over Charlotte Catholic. He’s had a strong start to the season as a mobile forward who attacks the rim hard and rebounds with intensity. He’s got room to grow as a perimeter player and working away from the basket, but he impacts the game already with his strengths.

Julian has been a reliable post presence for Lake Norman Charter in recent years and has now transitioned to Providence Day, which is expected to enhance his on-court development and attract more recruitment attention, given the talented prospects he’s playing alongside. Standing at an imposing 6’8 with a frame that offers room for growth, Julian applies patience and the ability to stretch bigger forwards to the perimeter with his outside shooting touch. He shines in transition and open space, showcasing impressive mobility and rim-running skills. Furthermore, he’s making strides in finishing through contact at the basket, hinting at even more potential for his future development.

is another sizeable name in the 2025 rankings at Lake Norman Charter that’s a sleeper to get eyes on at 6-foot-7. He does a masterful job of tracking the ball on both ends of the floor as a shot-blocker and rebounder. He does well to extend and finish in traffic with and without contact present, at times a lost art in the painted area. He’s due to have a strong junior campaign as his development continues in the frontcourt as both a threat in the paint and the perimeter.
