He gets defenders on their heels before rising up from 15-feet. On Friday, Plummer mixed in some drives to the basket. He had 9 points and 5 rebounds in a loss to Sunshine Elite.
Highlights
Outside shots weren’t falling on Friday morning but Johnson was still effective, showcasing a well-rounded floor game. The athletic swingman got to his floater routinely, playing off two feet with jump stops and elevating to score over the defense. Jay was put in the high post and made good decisions out of the scissors action, drawing fouls whenever he kept it himself and attacked the hoop. Jay went 5-7 from the stripe and finished with 13 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.

Jakorri Arnold Jakorri Arnold 6’2″ | CG Salem | 2024 GA leapt out at me – literally. The guard has elite bounciness. Arnold gets major air time on his jump shot and explodes to meet opponents at the rim as a shot blocker. Jakorri’s athleticism can be used in a variety of ways. I like his upside as a perimeter defender.
Highlights
The southpaw is a big guard that can stroke it from deep and make things happen with the bounce. Caleb was on fire in the first half against the Warner Robins All-Stars, hitting tough threes with hands in his face. Jones-Dicks is a skilled driver that absorbs contact and finishes with both hands.
Highlights
Jude has been in the weight room since his freshman year. Ellis is strong with the ball, able to power past defenders and get into the teeth of the defense. He is a crafty finisher at the rim and is quickly becoming an elusive perimeter scorer that shakes defenders and shoots exceptionally well off the dribble. Against HYPE Hawks, Jude hit a mid-range jumper, scored on a pair of drives and netted two threes to finish with 12 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Christian Brown
Christian Brown
Brown is a burly guard that has bounced around this offseason. He is solid scorer. Christian clears rebounds and goes coast-to-coast. He has a floater in his arsenal and implements mid-range pull-ups and can shoot the three. Brown posted 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals vs. Wood Elite, causing issues with his physicality downhill.
Will Kimes
Will Kimes
Will is long and lanky. The lefty doesn’t score a ton but is an influencer on defense. Over two games, Will averaged 3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 3 blocks. He is a versatile defender.
Bryant got cooking in Game 2 on Friday, dumping in 18 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block in a 65-61 loss to Team Dickerson White. Bryant attacked from all angles, opening up with a pair of pull-up jumpers before getting to the rack. Bryant is patient on his drives, using step throughs after getting defenders in the air. Reinhardt has offered.
Highlights
The lethal lefty loves going west. He has a knack for getting to his strong hand on drives but also can finish with his right. Zayden is a cut athlete with a quick explosion. He creates separation with the dribble and can rise and fire from beyond the arc with ease. He tallied 16 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a win over Team Breakdown.

When Blake Wilson Blake Wilson 6’5″ | PF Hebron Christian | 2024 State GA grabs a rebound, you can hear it. Wilson smacks the ball with both hands, establishing his dominance on the glass. He palms the ball easily and is a high flyer when he gets momentum. Wilson plays with a quiet mean streak. He is tough from the high post, using a spin move to get to the rim. Blake uses his shoulders well, dipping into the chest of post defenders to create space before going up to score. Wilson put up 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks in a win.
I was impressed with how well the lefty was able to create. Corey had no issue working tight spaces, tip-toeing the baseline on drives before riffling out assists to shooters and cutters. The crafty playmaker posted 5 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals on Friday morning.
