Christian Powell Christian Powell 5'6" | PG Severance | 2028 CO – 24MD Team Daum 15’s Elite – 2028
Despite standing roughly 5’3, the incoming 8th grade point guard was this group’s most impactful player. Capable facilitating out of the pick and roll or pinpointing a tight passing lane, Powell had himself a great weekend. On top of the court vision, the guard was an effective scorer regardless of opponent size. He showed soft touch high off the backboard, contributing on extended arm finishes above contests. Should the lane be cut off, Powell possesses a very quick shot, capable of stepping into those off of movement.
Ryan Meyers – Severance – 24MD Team Daum 15’s Elite – 2026
Meyers was all over the glass, doing his part to maximize his impact through raw strength. The 6’1 guard sought out smaller matchups, before getting low and pushing off opponents with ease. Most notably getting to his right hand finish, there was little the opponents could do outside of doubling. Another facet of Meyer’s effect has been his spot-up jumper, more than capable of knocking down the corner three when applicable.
Carson McMichael Carson McMichael 6'1" | PG Blake | 2026 State MN – Blake (MN) – Minnesota Select 2026 Altenhofen – 2026
McMichael has been quite possibly the most prolific shooter within the 15U division, proving especially consistent off the catch. In today’s initial matchup, McMichael knocked down 7 triples, alongside multiple other performances above 15 points per game. He is a deadeye off the catch, although today he displayed exceptional energy on the defensive end while hustling for loose balls.
Regan Edstrom – Platte Valley – Colorado Anarchy 2026-2
Edstrom contributed 20+ points in the initial Anarchy match this morning, posting quite a few made jumpers off of movement and off the catch. Defensively, Edstrom brought energy, taking no plays off. Proving capable of matching up with various backcourt opponents at the point of attack, Edstrom will be a worthwhile prospect to watch at Platte Valley in the coming years.
Lowry Kirkland Lowry Kirkland 5'9" | PG Pueblo County | 2026 State CO – Pueblo County – P-Town Elite 2026 – 2026
Kirkland demonstrated exceptional court vision, complemented by a tight handle to manipulate the defense. Regardless of the situation, Kirkland has quick processing speeds, allowing him to dish the ball whenever necessary. The guard is more than capable of finding backdoor cutters, seeking opponents off of double teams, or the good old kickout. His potential shooting the ball cannot go overlooked, where Kirkland has a very quick jumper, no doubt that he will be an early contributor down in Pueblo County.
Braxton Alpers – St. John – Western Kansas Hoops 2026 – 2026
Alpers demonstrated high energy on every possession while being a moldable offensive player. Certainly one of the best cutters in 15U, the guard made a living on backdoor cuts and was truly efficient on those attempts. He brought in at least six rebounds per game, coming from both ends of the floor, truly never satisfied. His rim pressure helped the team, by facilitating shotmakers on baseline kickouts.
