Here are some notes on many of the 2026 guards I observed in the gym during June.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782686' first='Styles' last='Clemmons'] | Princess Anne (VA)

Clemmons is an outstanding athlete who plays the lead guard position. He has a tight handle and is a talented shot-creator off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782657' first='Neiko' last='Mundey'] | Good Counsel (MD)

Mundey is a top-tier athlete with the tools to be a two-way game-changer. He scores it in bunches, is an excellent finisher, and has a nose for the ball defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252256' first='Elijah' last='Nelson'] | Lake Clifton (MD)

Nelson will be a fun player to watch on the Lakers for years to come. The 6'3" guard displays a well-rounded game. Nelson is a solid defender who rebounds his position and is a threat from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782659' first='Parker' last='Robinson'] | Good Counsel (MD)

Robinson is an offensive dynamo with a quick first step and an expansive skill set. He is equally strong with either hand when passing or dribbling. Robinson is a taller guard who has good court vision and is also a threat from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782660' first='Qayden' last='Samuels'] | Bishop McNamara (MD)

Samuels is a 6'5” guard who can shoot the three-ball. He is also good at attacking closeouts, getting to the paint, and finishing above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2252284' first='Donte' last='Whitaker'] | Eleanor Roosevelt (MD)

Whitaker is a promising point guard prospect for the Raiders. His passing skills are impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782670' first='Ube' last='Zaid'] | Landon (MD)

Zaid is a vigilant defender who is a pest on the ball. He makes others better offensively with his passing but can score when he needs to as well.
