Based on the games we scouted in July and our discussions with high school as well as college coaches during this month, below is a review of prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who we would offer a scholarship right now.
Carnell Henderson Carnell Henderson 6'2" | CG Imhotep Charter | 2025 State PA – 6’3″ / 2025 / Imhotep Charter / BW Elite / Wing: Henderson was one of the breakout 2025 prospects of the July live period. At one point after Henderson splashed a difficult three-point attempt over a double team an assistant coach who shall remain anonymous quietly said, “Sheesh. Henderson is the one.” In addition to his automatic shooting, Henderson has the height, vertical, athleticism, quickness, wingspan, and versatility that college coaches love.
Brendan Horan – 6’5″ / 2025 / Archbishop Carroll / East Coast Power / Wing: Horan has been putting in work somewhere because the offensive game he displayed in July represented a significant step forward for him. He scored off dribble with ease and was especially effective on baseline drives. His athleticism and hops enable Horan to finish with crowd pleasing dunks. His three-point shooting must be respected as well. Horan is also a plus defender because of his shot blocking and rebounding. He recently picked up an offer from LIU, but more college coaches need to stop sleeping on this kid.
Daveyon Lydner Daveyon Lydner 6'2" | CG Westtown School | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / 2025 / Westtown School / Wildcat Select / Wing: Lydner holds offers from Rutgers and Towson, but he is still wildly under recruited. This double-double machine is one of the top two-way prospects we have watched in this summer. Lydner already possesses college level athleticism, speed, and hops to go along with a solid frame. He can score at all three levels and is well known for his high-flying slams. On defense he is a plus player who can defend multiple positions and dominate the glass.
Ryan Mulroy

Mulroy
6'3" | SF
Upper Dublin | 2025
State
PA
– 6’0” / 2025 / Upper Dublin / Penn Warriors / Combo Guard: Mulroy’s reputation as a knock down three-point shooter is well known. His constant off ball movement and deep bag of fakes are impressive as well. Still, it was the off the dribble scoring (with both hands) and passing skills he displayed in July that really caught our attention. When he slides to the point guard spot, Mulroy’s high IQ and instincts keep him one step ahead of the opposing defense. His ability to use the glass from multiple angles brings a touch of old school flair to his game.
Tyler Simpson – 6’2″ / 2025 / Solebury School / United NJ / Point Guard: Simpson is an unstoppable scoring point guard that grabbed our attention at July’s grassroots events. His quick first step, athleticism and elusive handles enable Simpson to score in transition and blow past defenders in the half court. Simpson’s mid-range skills include a devastating floater game. Simpson also possesses a feathery jump shot with range well behind the 3-point arc. If a defender overplays Simpson on the top side, he will slash back door for a catch and lay-in.
Ryan Warren Ryan Warren 6'5" | PF Academy of New Church | 2026 State PA – 6’6” / 2026 / Academy of New Church / Philly Pride Select / Small Forward: The “new and improved” version we saw of Warren on the July circuit projects as a major contributor at the collegiate level. On offense Warren used his athleticism and size to attack the rim off one or two dribbles and then dunk on defenders in his way. He also stroked jumpers from multiple spots in the 8 to 14-foot range. His length and quick second jumps enable Warren to produce points via the offensive glass. On defense Warren’s versatility, shot blocking and rebounding would be welcome additions to any college program.
