Peterson is coming off a strong freshman season for Reed. He has a decent frame, with powerful legs that make him stand out. They also allowed him to get terrific lift on his shot.
Mulal provided instant size and rim protection. The nearly 7 foot sophomore is a work in progress, however the newly ranked class of 2026 prospect has a ton of upside. He controlled the boards, and showed that he can finish around the rim with putbacks and catch and finishes.
Smartt is a talented Newcomer who I was glad to lay eyes on. He has the ability to get to the rim using his strong hand and is a better than average R&J athlete. His size and offensive skillset will make him one of the most exciting new additions in his class.
This is the first time I saw Wilson, but he is a player with some height and skill. He shot the ball well in the game I saw. Despite his team struggling, he knocked down several open shots in catch and shoot situations.
This isn’t the first time, I’ve laid eyes on Fox but I haven’t seen a ton of him. What impressed me most was his defense, as he displayed good lateral quickness, when defending on ball. His tough defense first mindset was refreshing, and showed the type of competitor he is.
I’ve seen Anderson a bit, but not nearly as much as I would like. He’s an active, high energy, bruising big man. Anderson showed the ability to rebound the ball, wrestling away several in traffic rebounds. He also did a good job of sprinting the floor, catching and finishing around the rim.
