The big lefty was terrific in his final State tournament appearance. He was able to operate around the basket, scoring down low. To keep defenders off balance, you could find him facing up and slashing. He brough a true low post threat to the Mustangs who made it to the 4A Championship game.

I think coaches now understand what they’re getting in Anderson. He’s a physical post player willing to sacrifice his body for his team. His height alone had him on the recruiting radar anyway, however I think he really helped increase his level with his play against top competition.

I’ve seen Anderson a bit, but not nearly as much as I would like. He’s an active, high energy, bruising big man. Anderson showed the ability to rebound the ball, wrestling away several in traffic rebounds. He also did a good job of sprinting the floor, catching and finishing around the rim.
