In this article, we interviewed five players. Three of the guys are from South Dakota and two are from North Dakota.
PHD is switching things up in this article and we are letting the basketball players do the talking! These guys all had engaging and interesting things to say. PHD believes these ballers all have a bright future and we wish them the best of luck moving forward!

: “To improve my basketball skills I shoot around 500 shots a day and do a skill workout at RCC. To improve my athleticism I do speed and lifting with a program called Benson’s Sports Training.”

: “There are 5 Kieffer’s in high school at RCC. I have a younger brother in 9th grade who is Sully. A cousin in 12th and 10th grade who are my dads brother Chris’s kids, they are Wilson and Lars. Another cousin in 11th grade who is my dads brother Paul’s kid who is Simon. I also have a brother in 7th grade Finn and my sister Olivia just graduated and is going to play at USD.”

Boston Katzer Boston Katzer 6’3″ McCook Central-Montrose | 2025 SD : “Our last tournament in Minneapolis we only had 5 guys, our Friday night when we had a comeback win with everybody sharing the ball and bringing energy on both ends of the court to beat a good MN lightning team to start off the tournament.“

PHD: You are a stud in football & basketball, how do you balance your time between the two?

PHD: What are your individual goals for the next basketball season?
