The summer is flying by as August is right around the corner. Transfers are a part of every high school basketball season and this offseason was no different. Here are the 2024 transfers to watch this upcoming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050395' first='Deuce' last='Jones'], 6'1 PG College Achieve

Jones is one of the top available lead guards in the 2024 class and should put it on display this season. The St. Thomas Aquinas transfer is a blur in the open floor as he accelerates past defenders to finish around the basket. Jones is unafraid of contact and can hit tough shots on the perimeter. He uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense and can get his teammates involved in the halfcourt. Jones is a talented, lead guard prospect who makes plays with the ball in his hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='1153996' first='Jaden' last='Kelly'], 6'4 SG Roselle Catholic

Kelly is a prospect to track in the class with his ability to stretch the floor. The St. Thomas Aquinas transfer has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Kelly moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He slides his feet on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Kelly is a three-and-D prospect whose ability to knock down jumpers from deep will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1944302' first='Eric' last='Ihekwaba'], 6'10 C Blair Academy

Ihekwaba is a physical post player who should make his presence felt at both ends of the floor. The Montverde Academy transfer knows how to get position down low and has a good touch around the basket. Ihekwaba runs the floor hard and sets hard screens in the half court. He elevates for rebounds at both ends of the floor and swats almost everything around the rim. Ihekwaba's ability to control the paint at both ends is something that will help his development over the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1407063' first='Elijah' last='Peters'], 6'3 CG Union Catholic

Peters joins a Vikings squad that needs a scoring punch in the backcourt after graduating their top three scorers. The JP Stevens transfer is at his best attacking the basket as he is a strong finisher around the rim and can hit shots through contact. Peters uses his quick first step and handle to beat his defender off the bounce and can also score in the mid-range. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and has the athleticism to defend both backcourt spots. Peters is a high-scoring guard prospect who will be one to watch in Union County this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1406998' first='Semaj' last='Bethea'], 5'10 PG Camden

Bethea slots into the backcourt for the High as the Panthers look to recapture the Group 2 title. The St. Augustine transfer has a good handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the rim. Bethea has a good touch on his free throws and can knock down open jumpers from distance. He is a good passer and moves his feet on the defensive end. Bethea's ability to run the offense is something that will help his stock in a big way over the next couple of months.
