Amare Bethel Amare Bethel 6’3″ | PG Charlotte Country Day School | 2024 State NC is quite the tone-setter out of the Charlotte area in North Carolina’s 2024 class. He’s a prospect that will look to defend 90-feet and make his presence felt defensively before running things at the floor general spot offensively. He does well to set quite the tone on both ends of the floor with his energy that easily allows teammates to follow suit. He’s a point guard prospect that remains under the microscope, so to speak, for DI and DII programs in the region to get eyes on out of Charlotte Country Day School.
Isaiah Sanders Isaiah Sanders 5’11” | PG High Point Christian | 2024 State NC is ready to gear up for a strong senior campaign at High Point Christian Academy following an impressive grassroots season with Big Shots Elite North Carolina. He’s a shifty floor general that plays with a ton of pace with his ability to get to the paint and finish in traffic as well as knock down shots on the perimeter. He’s a high-level passing guard that can distribute at volume just as well and is certainly a prospect for programs of all levels to get eyes on in the region given his skillset. Pfeiffer University has offered already.

Fred Whitaker Fred Whitaker 5’11” | PG Northwood | 2024 State NC got hurt late during the high school season but he’s looking like he’s back to his old self after performing with Chapel Hill Blue Flames. He’s a floor general that plays under control and off 2-feet with the ability to really impact the game as a defender first. Shooting wise, he’s lights out from deep and can operate as a paint-touching guard that makes plays for others. He’ll finish up his senior season playing alongside Drake Powell Drake Powell 6’6″ | CG Northwood | 2024 State #8 Nation NC in 2023-24 at Northwood High as a dynamic backcourt duo.

Quasim Oden Quasim Oden 6’1″ | PG GRACE Christian | 2024 State NC is a point guard that has really come along as a scorer and playmaker this grassroots season with Team Wall . He’s a shifty lead guard that can score points with efficiency and find others in space to do the same. As he shows he can make things happen defensively this season with Grace Christian in the NCISAA ranks, look for his stock to grow on the recruiting trail.

MJ Edwards MJ Edwards 5’11” | PG Westchester Country Day | 2024 State NC is a name in the 2024 class that has earned his way onto the radar at the point guard spot this grassroots cycle with NC Spartans Patton. He’s a high-IQ floor general that knows how to make plays on both ends of the floor and is quite the underrated 3-point shooter when he gets going as well. He knows how to set the tone and control the pace with his energy on the floor and is also a high-academic prospect. College programs on the DII and DIII levels would be wise to get eyes on him at Westchester Country Day School in 2023-24.
