Obviously with this being the first one, there will be a lot of changes moving forward as players grow, develop and emerge over the next few years. The 48 player prospect rankings are just a starting point, and we’re excited to continue to monitor and learn new names moving forward.
Here’s a look at part one of the shooting guard and small forward rankings in the 2026 class.
11)
Alex Blanchard

Douglas Freeman | 2026
State
VA
| 6’2” SG | Douglas Freeman (#43 Overall)
Blanchard was quietly one of the best freshmen in the Richmond area on a rebuilding Freeman team, and he’s had a good spring so far playing up with Rockit 16U too. He looks like he’s going through a growth spurt and may look totally different by the time his sophomore season starts, he shoots the ball well from deep and relocates and moves well off the ball and he’s starting to show the ability to play on and off the ball and get open and score it from multiple levels.
10)
Faron Friend

6'2" | SG
Glen Allen | 2026
State
VA
| 6’3” SG | Glen Allen (#42 Overall)
Friend could shoot up this list as he continues to develop, as the 6’3” two guard had a good freshman season coming off the bench for Glen Allen and is having a good spring with River City Reign too. He looks like he still has some growing to do and is becoming more athletic every day as he grows into his body, he’s able to get out in transition where he can play above the rim and is a good finisher through traffic when he gets downhill and he has the ability to impact the game in ways that show up in the scorebook and other ways with his high motor too.
9) Ryan Corallo Ryan Corallo 6'1" | SG WT Woodson | 2026 State VA | 6’1” SG | WT Woodson (#37 Overall)
Corallo had a good freshman year on the young Woodson team to keep an eye on moving forward, and so far in the summer he’s shown flashes with some big games in the Dematha Summer League with them. He’s emerged as one of the Cavaliers top shooters and they are feeding him with his ability to get hot and knock down shots in succession, he moves well without to ball to get open and has a quick release and good range and he continues to work on the areas he needs to and will round his game out well.
8)
Marcus Hancock

Hancock
6'3" | SG
St Stephen’s & St Agnes In Alexandria | 2026
State
VA
| 6’1” SG | John Paul the Great (#36 Overall)
JPG is a team on the rise with most of their top performers returning next season, and throughout the year Hancock emerged as one of those players with his ability to score it and make plays on both ends of the floor. The 6’1” two guard is a knock down shooter from deep who works hard to get open and has good range, he competes on both ends of the floor and he’s a solid secondary ball handler who can create for himself and others too.
7) Kyren Oglesby | 6’4” SG | John Handley (#19 Overall)
Oglesby is one to keep an eye on in the Winchester area, as he started his freshman season putting up solid numbers for VA Academy before transferring to his home town public school and continuing that trend. He’s a big wing who has the ability to get downhill and play through contact, he rebounds well for his position and is a multifaceted defender who can guard multiple positions and he thrives in the midrange where he can hit shots off the catch and on the pull-up.
6) Zaevion Cleveland Zaevion Cleveland 6'4" | SF Landstown | 2026 State VA | 6’4” SF | Landstown (#16 Overall)
Cleveland is part of a very young Landstown core that will be a force to reckon with moving forward, and he has as much upside as anyone on this list. The 6’4” wing is an exceptional athlete who can finish above the rim on lobs and in transition, he can make shots from deep off the catch when he’s left open and he brings a toughness and competitive chip on both ends of the floor. He still has room to continue to develop and polish his ball skills and could take a big jump in the next few years.
