Sawyer will be an important component to Dakota Ridge's frontline defense, proving effective against some of the best backcourt playmakers. Standing right around 5'11, the guard is incredibly quick laterally, doing well to turn his hips and dig into opposing ball handlers. Along with his quickness is his defensive anticipation, proving effective at staying with whoever and blocking the shot of the immediate ball handler. Should help arrive, he was quick making passes to baseline cutters or corner shooters, proving his high IQ. Recently stepping into a larger role with Chatfield, Potts will be worth keeping tabs on, given the fast paced skill set.
