An undersized forward but Ferguson plays much taller than his listed height. A big-time athlete, Ferguson has some eye-popping dunks with Ohio Buckets -Young this season. Also attending some prospect camps in June, Ferguson has been to Bowling Green and Youngstown State already this month. College coaches can check him out in July with the Ohio Buckets Young as they have numerous small college targets for college programs to check out.
A prep hoops circuit standout, Conaway is an all-conference performer at Liberty Benton and has continued his productive play with Hopson Elite this spring. A skilled forward who can put it on the floor and hit the open perimeter shot, Conaway has a lot of ways to score the ball. A high iq player as well who can hit the open man, small college programs should check Conaway out this summer, he’ll be at multiple Prep Hoops events in July including the Grit Region Finals.
A new name I found in May, Calloway-White is an athletic forward who can knock down perimeter shots. A guy I think could breakout for Reynoldsburg this winter, Calloway-White has waited his turn and appears ready to take advantage of his opportunity as a senior. I also think Calloway-White could be a much-improved athlete in a college weight program, right now he looks like he has the body to put on muscle and add to his explosiveness with continued work and focus lifting. Another good small college option.
The biggest project in this article but the size that Cipollini has can’t be taught. After playing in only a couple varsity games for Yellow Spring last season, I expect more minutes for Cipollini this winter. Showing some strides when I watched him in May at the Grit Memorial Classic, Cipollini threw down some transition dunks and finished at the rim. Still needs some development but he’s worth a look for a patient college program.
OBC has made a lot of noise this spring at the 17 U level and Mallory is the latest member from that team to debut in our rankings. A skilled center, Mallory can really pass it out the post. Playing behind some talented bigs at Lutheran East, Mallory gets challenged in practice every day. You can see his toughness at the grassroots level getting the chance to shine with starter level minutes. Small college programs check out Mallory in July with OBC at the Ua Rise finals in Atlanta.
Another prep hoops circuit standout, Klinzing is productive on one of the top 17 U squads in the Grit region of the circuit. Klinzing is tough to stop rolling to the hoop in pick and rolls and has good hands with the skill to finish with either hand at the rim. Mac Basketball is a well-coached group that really understands how to play, college coaches looking for players ready to sacrifice numbers for the team should check out their 2024 group this July.
