[player_tooltip player_id='1293963' first='Mekhi' last='Edwards'] of St. Cloud Tech (6'6 Forward, 2024). Edwards is a crafty, soft hands great footwork kind of big man that does a lot of great work around the basket. He had a game high 14 rebounds and scored in the paint BUT also played some lead guard for Tech (nearly all of half two) and he scored on the attack as well. Mekhi totalled a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds making half of his 16 attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1441798' first='Chase' last='Pemberton'] of Andover (6'3 SG, 2024). Chase exploded for 45 points making eight threes leading the Huskies to a 30 point win over Andover. What will Andover look like after losing a special senior class? Maybe not as bad as some think of Chase plays anything near this level in the future. He scored nine a game on average last year but went for five times that today.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582111' first='Jake' last='Schultz'] of Delano (6'0 PG, 2025). What you love about Schultz is the guts he plays with. He is willing to take the big shot, he is willing to take a potential game changer, and he will attack whatever. And today on his way to 24 points, Schultz had a stretch of 12 misses in 13 attempts but it didn't phase him. Jake then made five of his last six attempts leading to six threes for the game giving his team a chance.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284083' first='Andy' last='Stefonowicz'] of Minnetonka (6'1 PG, 2024). The lanes and spaces that Andy finds just before they open providing service for outstanding shots ranks with the best in the state. He scored 28 against Tonka on 18 attempts but it was his mastery of the one on one battle that I took away as outstanding. He beat his man routinely (7 of 8 foul shots) but more importantly provided excellent timely delivery. Tonka had a lot of quick attempts that Andy could not control but when he did have control the results were usually points or missed shots of quality.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617798' first='Spencer' last='Swenson'] of Sauk Rapids-Rice (6'7 PF, 2025). Spencer looked for his offense early rim running for a score, going baseline to score, and putting the post move on a player for a basket. Spencer has a solid perimeter touch but he also runs well at his size and the skill is there for him to be in that modern day stretch four category. Led his team with 16 points and grabbed eight boards. Nice Storm debut in the public eye.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574227' first='Chace' last='Watley'] of Totino-Grace (6'1 PG, 2025). Watley had a supporting 20 points with four assists in the Eagle win over Tonka. The highlight for me from Watley was a couple of the difficult later possession shots he made that were a part of a key stretch where Watley scored five baskets in a row and TG got their first real separation on the scoreboard. Watley scored 20 points on 14 attempts.
