Evan Murray Evan Murray 6'3" | SG Chanhassen | 2024 State MN of Chanhassen (6’3 SG, 2024). Why do we have high expectations for Chan? Not only do they bring back Max and Riley, they have another double figure scoring senior-to-be back from last year and that’s Evan Murray Evan Murray 6'3" | SG Chanhassen | 2024 State MN . Evan went for 20 plus against Buffalo on Monday and he put his points on the board attacking the rim with regular success. Good shooter and some of the jumpers went down but the rim finishes were huge for Murray.
Jacob Orenge of Mound-Westonka (5’9 PF, 2025). Orenge played junior varsity last season but is starting to make the transition to varsity point guard and based on this past Monday, that transition is going pretty well. He was able to attack the rim and create for teammates regularly.
Ethan Pettis of Blaine (6’2 SG, 2024). Pettis scored 16 points a game last season earning all conference recognition because of that touch and he was once against on fire from the perimeter in his team’s win against the Whitehawks. The range on his touch was too deep for the opponents to close to and Pettis found a grove for a big shooting game earning a win.
Aaron Smith Aaron Smith 6'9" | C Osseo | 2024 State MN of Osseo (6’10 Big, 2024). Aaron played some last year starting here, coming off the bench there. He is the Osseo five man this coming season and he did a solid job scoring inside against BSM producing three second half baskets plus hitting four of six foul shots. When the ball found the big man around the basket he did a good job of producing for his team.
Ty Torgrimson Ty Torgrimson 5'11" | PG Buffalo | 2025 State MN of Buffalo (5’10 PG, 2025). Ty made a varsity impact of the bench last year and had some big moments but his overtime time/late game performance on Monday will be one to remember entering his junior season. Ty hit the game winner against Chanhassen in overtime plus he took two charges down the stretch helping his team get the win. Excellent two way game running the team.
