13-8 this past season, nice stats with 14.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, 54.4 FG%, 40.1 3FG%, 80 FT%. In AAU Lukas is efficient on O & D, is rebounding at a high-level, and has proven to be a smart decision maker. Morgan has picked up a couple college offers and is getting interest from several other schools. Definitely a player to watch this summer.
Highlights
15-9 record for the Tigers, qualified for the State Tournament, 2nd Team All-State, 15 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.1 apg, 2 spg, 45.3 FG%, 35.9 3FG%, 84 FT%, the strong lefty is also playing great in AAU, is a gifted passer, and a smart overall player. Jacoby is intriguing as a defender with his size, strength, and smarts.
16-6 record, lost in SoDak 16, put up quality numbers w/ 17 ppg, 4 apg, and 2 spg. Tietz is one of the top shooters in SD, his range goes way deep. Lane is an intelligent player that seems to always make the correct split-second decision. In AAU, Lane is scoring consistently at a high-level, finishing well at the rim, and is stealing the ball like a cat burglar.
3rd Place Finish at State, 21-4 record, 3rd Team All-State, 14.4 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 2.3 apg, 42.4 FG%, 35.3 3FG%. Playing excellent in AAU, proving that he is more than just a bucket, leadership & defensive toughness have grown, wants to take the last shot & is confident, but will also get stops & make plays on D.
He helped the Tigers pick up 15 wins and get to the State Tournament. Braeden is a long guard, and a major threat from beyond the 3-point arc. His range is extended and VanBockern does not need much room to get his silky smooth J off. Braeden can shoot with the best of them and he has also been impressive on the defensive side of the ball in AAU.
Highlights
STATE CHAMPION! 23-3 record. Jensen is a top-notch defender, a chairman of the boards, and an athletic dunker. The Bulldog plays the 3-5 positions, is the ultimate teammate, plays crafty & creative, his confidence has greatly improved in AAU, and George becoming a great communicator.
A next-level athlete and a multi-sport star. Ortman was 3rd Team All-State with 18.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 4.5 apg, 2.4 spg, 30 3FG%, and 78 FT%. Tage is tough and he can put the clamps down on D. Ortman is freak athlete, a stat stuffer, and he has been working on his skills this offseason. Tage will have a monster senior season.
4th Place at State & Nic helped the Tigers win 20 games. Marshall was 3rd Team All-State w/ 17.8 ppg, 4 rpg, 5.3 apg, and 3.2 apg. Nic is a winner, no question about that! He will take a big step up next season & lead the Tigers. In AAU, Nic has made great plays at the rim, has improved his D, is forcing TO’s, and is facilitating like a true PG.
Hamilton averaged 15 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.7 apg, and shot 34.2 FG% from deep this past season. Seth is as strong as an ox but can still make smooth plays. He is a beast going to the rim but can still hit from the perimeter. In AAU, Hamilton is improving every game, he plays bully ball on his way to the basket, and is consistently making winning plays.
He was 3rd Team All-State with gaudy numbers. Cotton averaged 23.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 2.5 apg, and 2.7 spg. Cotton was great at getting into the lane and at drawing contact. Layne knocked down 113 FT’s! That is how you know Cotton is a real-deal scorer. I like his pull-up game, his bag of moves, his aggressiveness, and flexibility when finishing. Layne should be high on your list of players to watch early next winter!
The Dolphins will be much improved in 23-24. Jake averaged 17.3 ppg & 5.3 rpg last season. Jorenby has good size & is strong. He shoots it well in catch-n-shoot situations. Jorenby is a multi-faceted player that can do a bit of everything. In AAU, Jake has stuck out w/ his athleticism. He has been getting downhill to make plays & he intimidates attackers w/ his rim protecting. Jake is also a volume rebounder. College coaches have started to take notice!
