2022-23 Season: 7-13 (Lost in Regions)
Stats: Unavailable, but look for Jake to be highly productive this year
Season Outlook: The Dolphins should be an improved squad this coming season. It is going to be tough to make it to the SoDak 16 with De Smet and Castlewood in Region 2 but you never know and upsets do happen. Jorenby is primed for a breakout senior season. Jake is a big wing with athleticism and a versatile scoring package. He will also lock up on defense and clean the glass.

He is the ultimate toughness-guy and that was certainly evident this summer with SD Identity. Jorenby deflected passes, contested/altered attempts, and blocked shots on a regular basis. Jake crashed the boards on every possession and he guarded all 5 positions. This kid flies around and makes winning plays!

The Dolphins will be much improved in 23-24. Jake averaged 17.3 ppg & 5.3 rpg last season. Jorenby has good size & is strong. He shoots it well in catch-n-shoot situations. Jorenby is a multi-faceted player that can do a bit of everything. In AAU, Jake has stuck out w/ his athleticism. He has been getting downhill to make plays & he intimidates attackers w/ his rim protecting. Jake is also a volume rebounder. College coaches have started to take notice!

Football record: 4-5. Jake had a fantastic fall as a QB/DB for the Dolphins. In basketball, Jorenby is a big-time shooter from beyond the arc. He is a consistent shooter that will keep defenses honest. Look for Jorenby to be a game changer this winter, 3-points at a time!
