Allen is a top 10 prospect and one of the better big men in the class of 2025. In the game we caught against Hyde Park he was best getting points off his own misses. Didn’t convert a few close shots, but his second jump was better than expected as he recovered to finish. Effective sealing off opponents and had a sweeping finish late in the game. Area rebounder.

Smith helped himself with a strong weekend. He is the man now for West Aurora with Pickett gone. Totally looks the part at 6’5” with his strength and athleticism. He was explosive off the bounce and in transition getting to the cup and throwing down with pop. Hit a couple threes in one of the games we saw and can check twos through fours. Mid-major prospect.
Davion Hannah (Kenwood)
Hannah played with Kenwood this weekend. While he says it is not a done deal he will be transferring to the Broncos for his junior year, if he does he is going to be tough to beat for the top spot in the 2025 class. He is one of the best athletes we have seen in recent memory on the wing. He is a long limbed and wiry small forward that makes it look easy getting to the cup, spin moves in the lane, and can hit spot up threes.

Miletic was outstanding in a primetime game against Kenwood. The 6’6” point-forward has size, skill, and shot making. The last was on full display as he drained seven from distance with his high release point and consistent accuracy. Great feel for the game as a playmaking forward.
Robert Walls

Walls was excellent in our eval of DePaul Prep as the scoring combo guard had it rolling off the catch from the corners, pushed off his defense in transition, and played with a high-motor attacking off the dribble.

Munoz didn’t score a ton in the game we saw, but it was his versatility to contribute across the board that makes the top 3 prospect so intriguing. He is a plus defender using his length and athleticism blocking shots and getting steals. Rebounds well for his position and had the game winning tip in with seconds to go.
Arlandis Brown

(East St. Louis)
Brown played limited minutes as a sophomore, but enough to get in the top 70 of the rankings in those glimpses. Thin and wiry forward that has a feathery jumper from mid-range and off the catch from three. Versatile player with a ton of upside!
Dominic Pangallo (Homewood Flossmoor)
Breakout showing for Pangallo as the 6’5” wing from HF put his name on our radar with his size for position and shot making ability. Drained an array of them off the catch with a smooth looking stroke. Multi positional defender that also crashes the glass.

(St. Ignatius)
Gill made a strong case for #1 in 2025 over the weekend. The two guard in the first game we saw was mostly getting to the line after drawing contact on drives. The second game he absolutely took over scoring 32 points including a massive close to bring his team back scoring off the bounce and getting wherever he wanted on the floor with his smooth handles. Then there was the final game where he notched 15 points showing an all-around floor game including tenacious defense. High-major all the way.
Zerrick Johnson

Johnson is a big and strong combo guard that is at his best attacking downhill with force. Burst with the rock breaking through traffic for finishes at the cup. He can play on and off the ball. His passing feel showed through as both a facilitator and connector.
Jacob Rice

Rice is so productive each and every time out. Big time floor spacer that drains threes in bunches and uses his strength to finish through contact. Best as a spot up shooter or off movement. D1 prospect.

(Brother Rice)
Fitch has an arrow pointing up on his stock after a strong weekend at RB. The bouncy power forward was a monster finishing out of the dunker spot over and over again. So explosive off the floor along with being able to maneuver when they took the simple play away from him. Has some stretch potential and defensively showed he can be a factor as a rim protector.
Jake Nosek (Metea Valley)
What a show Nosek put on. He was on our radar early in his career and then we hadn’t seen him in a while. What the 6’8” face up five man brought with his elite shot making from deep was super impressive especially spotting up in the corners and letting it fly. Thought he did a nice job high-pointing rebounds in traffic as well. Needs to add strength, but has the look of a potential D1 guy.

This skilled four man has arms and legs for days. Lanky post will need to add strength, but there is so much to like here. Showed more explosiveness finishing around the hoop. Scored off the move and had sweeping conversions at the rim.

Thomas is back in Illinois after a year in South Carolina. Combo guard at 6’2” with good strength that will be a stabilizing force for the Caravan. Can get downhill, is a capable shot maker, and distributed it well to his plethora of weapons.
Savion Mitchell

Mitchell came out of nowhere! The 6’6” four man wasn’t on anyone’s radar after last season and in his first appearance with them this summer he impressed. Finished out of the dunker spot, was excellent in the pick/roll, and hit a pair of threes. Also was a mobile defender that could block shots.
