[player_tooltip player_id='1466165' first='Alex' last='Atkinson'] was short chained a week ago with his play after being ejected from play in the Phenom G3 Showcase. Atkinson came to play this weekend inside-out on the floor. Alex who runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2078753' first='Upward' last='Stars Columbia'] 17U attends Lower Richland HS. Atkinson will surely be a Stock-Riser in the next rankings update later this month. Alex can step-out and knockdown the 3-ball and at times he looks to be just gliding around the court. He shows to have nice footwork down in the paint area.

Atkinson is a quick leaper off the floor on the defensive end. Alex does a nice job of covering a lot of ground with his ability to fill the lane in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='1158132' first='Jayden' last='Pretty'] has a great old-school style game to him down low in the paint. He really does a nice job of carving out space and going to work with his back to the basket. He can play face-up from elbow in at times and knockdown the short jumper. Jayden has great mitts to catch anything thrown in his direction. He's best suited around the rim and seems to be the most effective there scoring and rebounding the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1316122' first='Franklin' last='Davis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1268064' first='Cameron' last='O'Kelley'] are like fire and ice at times with their play for NLE 2024. This duo has been leading the way for his program all spring long week after week with Prep Hoops in attendance. These guys play off each other very well in the backcourt for Head Coach Ryan Breazeale.

[player_tooltip player_id='1678545' first='Kayzzin' last='McDowell'] continued his hot play from last weekend and all spring long it seems. McDowell who attends Byrnes HS. McDowell is a smooth guard-wing for the [program_tooltip program_id='157426' first='Upward' last='Stars Upstate'] Harvey. He was able to create off the bounce today with his play when he wasn't knocking perimeter jumpers. Kayzzin doesn't mind stalking the baseline at times and attacking the basket. He really shoots the ball at a productive clip. Look for this young man to be a Stock-Riser in the next edition of the 2024 Class Rankings.

T.L. Hanna HS really has some pieces to make some noise this coming season. [player_tooltip player_id='1109483' first='Jaquarious' last='Patterson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1578622' first='Javeyn' last='Martin'] will look to start the party. Patterson a long and rangy wing can knockdown shots especially from the mid-range and beyond. He really looks to play active in the passing lanes with his long wingspan. Patterson scored 17 points today for KST Academy in a game vs Cap City.

Martin got to the basket at times today with his play. Javeyn is a bit of a pest at times on the defensive end with his scrappy play. Martin a combo guard will look to direct traffic from out top with some heady playmaking skills. This duo will some other key members as T.L. Hanna HS on watch for this season in Class 5A.
