Finishing out our second live session on Sunday are some titanic battles across state lines. We’ve got two strong Virginia squads headed down to take on a couple top NC programs, and lots of impressive talent across the board. Read below for more info!
Morning Session
A battle of two really strong programs, Princess Anne (VA) vs Myers Park is probably the best matchup of the weekend. Myers Park is a pretty well known commodity, led by top prospect in 2025 Sadiq White Jr Sadiq White Jr 6'8" | SF Myers Park | 2025 State #56 Nation NC , a long slashing forward that can dunk everything possible. Bishop Boswell Bishop Boswell 6'4" | PG Myers Park | 2024 State #68 Nation NC is a consummate point guard that does everything asked of him as a facilitator and scorer, and Sir Mohammed Sir Mohammed 6'6" | SG Myers Park | 2024 State #83 Nation NC is a dog who can play lots of defense and play point guard as well. What remains to be seen is who may emerge as the supporting cast for these three, with some key pieces graduating. However, young guards like Josh Hines Josh Hines 6'2" | SG Myers Park | 2026 State NC , Bram Early Bram Early 6'0" | SG Myers Park | 2025 State NC , and Traver Stuart may be primed to jump off the page. Princess Anne brings one of the hottest 2026 guards in Styles Clemmons Styles Clemmons 6'2" | PG Princess Anne | 2026 State VA into this matchup, but do have a nice stable of complementary pieces. Aidan Mckeating is another 2026 guard, and Devin Askew has the experience going into his senior year. I’ll be really curious to watch Clemmons take on the older, bigger guards in Boswell and Mohammed, but it should be fun to watch no matter what.
Afternoon Session
Cave Spring (VA) and North Mecklenburg finish the live period off with another cross-border matchup. North Meck retains top 2024 Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6'6" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC , an elite scorer that gives off Brandon Ingram comparisons (and not just cause he’s skinny). Ashton Pierce Ashton Pierce 6'3" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2026 State NC is one of the top scorers in his 2026 class, giving the Vikings a dangerous 1-2 punch. Others like Trey Maxwell Trey Maxwell 6'4" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC , a D1 level 2024 guard, and younger guys like Greg Murray Greg Murray 5'11" | CG North Mecklenburg | 2025 State NC and Carson Evans Carson Evans 6'2" | CG North Mecklenburg | 2025 State NC should have bigger roles coming into this year. For Cave Spring, their lead guys are graduating but still have talent in the stable, led by long wing Kameron Tinsley Kameron Tinsley 6'5" | SF Cave Spring | 2024 State VA who can really get going on the break and downhill. Carter Cornett will be super important inside as an undersized forward kind of prospect, and we’ll see if more guys like Ethan Jones pop out as young players to take notice of. I’ll be excited to watch some of this elite talent go back and forth, even if the Vikings have a bit more firepower in my eyes on paper.
