The tournament was filled with talent and has great games all weekend. In this article, I will be talking about some underclassman who produced.
Gunnar Dykstra – 2027 -Lynden Christian HS
Gunnar isn’t the tallest player for his age but he has more fight and want to win than any other player on the court when he’s out there. He has very solid handles and keeps the ball close to him with ease. He dribbles through and out of traffic well, finding his teammates if he is in trouble. He uses screens well, being able to find his big man who is rolling. Don’t leave him open either, he will knock down the shot.
Malachi Bowman – 2026 – Lynden HS
Malachi has great size for being a 2026 graduate. His game is very raw but he a TON of potential. He stretches the floor very nicely and runs the floor good. He finishes at the rim effectively through traffic and has some solid post moves to help him down low. He’s a name to keep an eye on in the coming years.
Aaron Pierre – 2026 – Kamiak HS
Aaron has great length on the court and uses it to his advantage well. He ran the floor well, filling the necessary lanes when needed. He is aggressive with the ball in his hands, as he should be. He can finish around the rim through traffic well using his length. I think he could get some solid minutes for Kamiak this upcoming season.
Hunter Calloway Hunter Calloway 6'2" | SG Squalicum | 2027 State WA – 2027 – Squalicum HS
Hunter was one of the more impressive soon to-be freshman players that took the court over the weekend. Hunter controls the pace very well and is able to run the offense smoothly. He is versatile on the court, being able to be the main ball carrier, play on the wing, or out of the high post with ease. I believe he will turn into a very nice 3 level scorer as he can already stop on a dime and hit mid-range shots. Keep an eye out for Calloway on the Storms team over the next couple years.
