Hunter has grown into his frame over the past year or so, looking much stronger on the court. His confidence has been rising, as he continues to attack defenses down-hill no matter who is guarding him. He runs the point guard nicely for the Storm, creating for himself and teammates smoothly. His deep shot has really improved now with his quicker and higher release point.

Hunter, as a freshman last year, was the main option for the Storm on the offensive side of the ball. Last season it was apparent he needed to gain more muscle and be more confident on the court. After gaining muscle mass and working on his game daily, he showed tremendous improvement over the summer. He is ready for a huge sophomore season as he’s gotten to be much more of a 3 level scorer, which will be on full display.

Hunter has really grown his game in a big way since the last season ended. He stepped into a position where he was relied on a lot, which won’t be any different next year but now that he has gained more muscle and a stronger core, being able to explode off his feet on his jumper. He played great ISO ball, using screens nicely and finishing his mid-range jumpers all weekend for the Storm.

Hunter had a big freshman season for the Storm and did a great job at being the main offensive option for the team. He grew a ton as a leader on the court, being able to facilitate the offense at a high level and help grow his teammates games in impactful ways. He finds his spots for his midrange nicely and has been improving his ball strength and ability to finish around the rim through traffic.
