Multiple high school events will be taking place in the month of June including the IBCA Top 100 workout, the Charlie Hughes Showcase, plus multiple summer leagues. Prep Hoops Indiana will be out in full force all month watching multiple high schools prospects across the board. Let’s go ahead and take a look at Part 1 of five players from the 2026 class that are on my watch list for the month of June.
Highlights
Roseman is a 2026 that I have enjoyed watching since last summer. He really turned up his production in the Spring for Indiana Elite – Aldridge 2026 and was scoring at a high level. For his age, I feel as though he is one of the more mature players in the 2026 in-state class and is a player that can score at all three levels, especially with his dangerous mid-range game. He has an extremely high IQ on the offensive end and is quick and athletic enough to be a playmaker when you need him to. He should continue to produce this month and raise his value as a player.
Highlights
As a 2026, Curry is about as smooth and consistent as they come. What makes Curry a top 5 player in the 2026 in-state class is his ability to score at a high level from behind the arc. He has great length for a shooting guard his age and is real good about getting to his spots and creating scoring chances for himself. For Indy Heat 15U, he shot an impressive 52.9% on 18-of-34 shooting form three. his unlimited upside is what really stands out to me and even though he played in every varsity game for Noblesville last season, he is going to carve an even bigger role starting this month. Offers should be coming very soon.
Highlights
At 6-foot-7, Hazelett is already one of the longer and more true wings we have in the in-state 2026 class. For his size, he has outstanding ball handles and is versatile enough to play at the perimeter or in the post at a solid rate. For Indy Heat 15U, he averaged 6.1 points while shooting 50% (30-of-60). He still is raw as a prospect, but his potential and versatility is what makes him a high level prospect. Sooner-than-later, D1 coaches will have their eye on this small forward and that could certainly stat happening this month.
Wells is a power forward that turned a lot of heads at Mount Vernon (Fortville) last season. At around 6-foot-4, he is long, athletic, and has shown some smoothness around the rim. Solid handles for his size as well and can make plays on the drive at a high levels. His athletic ability and motor is what attracts you instantly to Wells as there aren’t many plays that I have seen that he takes off and he is smart enough to know his athletic ability is to his advantage. Playing on Meanstreets 15U, he was very consistent in the spring averaging 8.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. This is a post that can make plays happen.
Belcher is a 2026 that has long-term potential due to his size at 6-foot-8 and his play in the post on both ends. Right now, he is a shot blocker on the defensive end and can score well through contact on the offensive end. He has played very well for Indy Heat Red this offseason and is a guy that could really breakout in the month of June in front of the right people. Keep an eye on Belcher this month and in July as well.
