The showcase took place at Brownsburg High School and was also a live period for Division 1 coaches with the likes of Mike Woodson (Indiana), Bill Self (Kansas), Matt Painter (Purdue), and many more all in attendance. With that said, here is the list of my standouts from session one.
Carpenter was one of the players that impressed me the most from the opening stations to the the in-game action. He is built like a true wing, long and wide, and has a really smooth three point shot. Like his footwork on the wing and the fact he always has his hands ready to shoot. Just a high level scorer.
Cundiff was an absolute workhorse on Saturday like you would expect him to be. His motor was one of the highest I saw over the weekend and he was attacking the basket hard. Thought he was tough on the defensive end as well.
Ertel was one of the top 2026s that attended IBCA Top 100 on Saturday. He has legit scoring and playmaking ability and is the type of lead guard that makes players better around him. Was especially good on the baseline with drives and pull up jumpers. Really like Ertel’s game already.
Briscoe might have been the most talked about prospect on Saturday. His improved mobility and ability to stretch the floor most consistently is what stood out this weekend, which had the D1 coaches interested. He is proving to be that high major power forward, which will likely start bringing in even more offers.
Howell was one of the lead guards that I enjoyed watching the most on Saturday. Even though he is on the shorter end, he is great and quick on the ball and is so dynamic at times. A pure scorer, he gets down hill very fast and creates so well off the dribble. Has a good feel for the game.

Tornatta was one of the bigs this past weekend with one of the highest motor. He was paired up with

on the same team which was really interesting to watch as they arguably made the best frontcourt of the day. Tornatta’s best ability is his rebounding and he was doing so really well on Saturday. Love his ability to also play physical on both ends of the floor.
Their was not a higher prospect in the gym on Saturday than

. With it being a live period, high major coaches were in attendance to watch this special player and would travel from court to court to watch him. Bidunga has gotten so much better at taking his defender off the dribble and if he is at the rim, he is scoring. Bidunga has an official visit set with Duke this week and is planning to take another one with Indiana soon per reports.

Schmidt is a long, lanky forward that can play both inside and out I noticed much more on Saturday. He is a pretty active on both ends of he floor and I thought his footwork in the post was pretty shifty. His court awareness was solid just like I had seen in the past and he was aggressive.
Highlights
Daeger had himself a really good showing on Saturday. When it comes to the 2026 class, he is one of the best pure scorers in that in-state class. He plays with a high IQ and can either score at the rim and especially knock down the long ball well. He is a player to continue to keep an eye on in he southern Indiana area.

In the game I watched of Duncan’s, he had his work cut out for him going up against

. Once he got settled in, I thought he did a solid job. Duncan is real smooth around the rim but an underrated part of his game is his ability to stretch the floor, which I thought he did well at times.
Highlights
It is no secret at this point, but Andrews is one of my favorite players to watch in the state. On Saturday, he proved to be one of the best shooters on the floor in both sessions and competitiveness was as high as you could imagine. Coaches at all levels need to keep watching this guy.
Highlights
Fine played a little more on-ball on Saturday than what I had seen in the past and honestly thought he did a real solid job. He fed the post really well and his court vision was high I thought. As most know by now, Fine is an extremely aggressive guard so when he has the chance to attack, he will. Just needs to continue to work on his finishing on the drives, but there is still some upside with Fine.

At 6-foot-7, Schultz’s size was one of the things you notice right away followed by how naturally strong he is. I thought he played really well around the rim and on the defensive end, he competed pretty well. When it comes to rebounding, he really protects his area and wants to fight for the boards. He is a great small school prospect.
