Cal State-Bakersfield has now joined UTEP in extending this talented rising ninth grader an official offer.
As we have mentioned previously, Pennsylvania’s Class of 2027 is absolutely stocked with college prospects. In addition to Sutton, there are several more 2027s we don’t even need to watch in June. Because if it were up to us, the five 2027s highlighted below would receive a college scholarship offer today.
Silas Graham Silas Graham 6'4" | CG Haverford School | 2027 State PA – 6’4″ / Haverford School / Philly Pride UAA / Combo Guard: During the 2022-23 Graham (11 ppg.; 7.5 rpg; 3 apg.) was a key part of a talented Fords squad. Graham is a multi-skilled and sneaky athletic prospect who can score at all three levels. As a bonus, Graham is also automatic from the charity stripe. This past season he posted a ridiculous 30 points and 7 rebounds performance against Cristo Rey and scored 24 points vs. Episcopal Academy.
Zion Green Zion Green 6'8" | PF Imhotep Charter | 2027 State PA – 6’7” / Imhotep Charter / We R1 / Wing: Green is a long and wiry athlete who plays like a stretch-4. He can drain jumpers from anywhere on the court and is automatic from deep. He is an excellent passer and owns decent handles too. Green’s enormous wingspan and hops, enable him to be a rebounding force at both ends of the court. Green also runs the floor extremely well.
Munir Greig Munir Greig 6'6" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2027 State PA – 6’6″ / Imhotep Charter / NJ Scholars Elite / Wing: With his speed, solid instincts and impressive vertical, Greig is a natural transition scoring machine. In the half-court, Greig can maneuver his way to the rim off two or three dribbles, where he can finish with either hand. He also excels at catching and finishing baseline alley-oops. On defense he is an intimidating weakside rim protector.
Nick Harken – 6’3″ / Malvern Prep / Team DPS / Shooting Guard: Harken is an extremely intriguing prospect who has a deep bag of mid-range tricks in his game. When he is not killing a defender with stop-n-pops or floaters, Harken continues all the way to the cup for lay-ins through contact. Additionally, Harken can splash triples. His high basketball IQ and quickness produce well-timed off-ball movements that make Harken extremely difficult to defend.
Nazir Tyler – 6’2” / Neumann-Goretti / Team DPS / Combo Guard: Last season as an 8th grader at Germantown Friends,Tyler posted 13 points and 5 rebounds a game in the highly competitive Friends League. Tyler can score at every level, but he is especially lethal from behind the arc. Tyler excels at working off pin downs or pick-n-pop action to get open looks. Plus, with his constant off-ball movement he has a knack for finding spaces in an opposing defense. At the other end, Tyler is plus defender.
