The Mt. Zion high school team made a big splash last year winning the first ever MD Private School State Championship, and Montgomery is one of their most intriguing prospects with his blend of size, athleticism and overall skill. He has a great frame with a strong upper body and long arms and he’s a dynamic athlete when he gets downhill, he plays much bigger than his 6’5” frame would suggest as he’s a good rebounder and defender, he has good feel and vision as a passer and he can make shots from deep and in the midrange too.
Francis Folefac Francis Folefac 6'6" | C Mt. Zion Prep Academy | 2025 State MD | 6’7” PF | Mt. Zion ’25
Folefac was a breakout player this season with Mt. Zion, and he’s one of the more underrated and unknown players that could make a name for himself at this event. The 6’7” forward is a versatile mismatch as he can play on the perimeter with the ability to put it on the deck and he’s a good passer too, he can hit the glass and scores it well in the paint and he has the ability to guard multiple positions too.

Zion and reclassify to the 2026 class, where he instantly becomes one of the top prospects in Maryland in that class. At 6’8” he has a terrific skillset with the ability to handle and make shots on the perimeter, he can get downhill and is a good finisher through contact, he’s a good rebounder and a versatile defender as well as an unselfish playmaker too.
Scottie Hubbard Scottie Hubbard 6'5" | SG Jackson-Reed | 2024 State MD | 6’6” WF | St. Andrew’s ’24

Xander Alarie Xander Alarie 6'8" | SF St. Andrew's | 2024 State MD | 6’8” WF | St. Andrew’s ’24
Alarie is another prospect on this St. Andrew’s team that should be able to boost his stock and will impress coaches with his all-around game at his size. The 6’8” wing is natural athlete who gets up and down well and is an explosive finisher around the rim, he has good ball skills on the perimeter with the ability to knock down shots and put it on the deck and he is a good rebounder who can guard multiple positions too.
Tyler Jackson Tyler Jackson 6'2" | CG St. Frances | 2025 #40 Nation MD | 6’2” CG | St. Frances ’25
Jackson is considered by many as one of the top guards in his class in the country, and is one of the biggest stock risers in all of Maryland over the past few years. He’s a walking bucket of a combo who is quick and shifty off the bounce and can create space effortlessly with the ball in his hands, he can get downhill where he’s a strong and crafty finisher around the rim and he has the innate ability to make tough shots is isolation situations.

Fleming is one of a number of impressive transfers coming to St. Frances this season which will once again make them a favorite to compete for the BCL championship as he brings an inside-out presence that is going to be tough to matchup with. Fleming comes to St. Frances from Bishop Walsh and he’s an athletic forward who can get up and down, he can step out and knock down shots on the perimeter and he can face up and take defenders off the bounce.
Jasiah Cannady Jasiah Cannady 6'0" | PG St. Frances | 2026 State MD | 6’0” PG | St. Frances ’26
Cannady is another transfer from Bishop Walsh to St. Frances, and he’ll form a formidable duo in the backcourt with Jackson. Cannady has the ability to handle pressure and get his team into sets throughout the game, he can turn it on as he’s a very good shooter from deep with effortless range out to the NBA line off the bounce and he is a good defender with good instincts as well.

Rogers is a sneaky guard prospect coaches should take a look at, as he’s going to put up big numbers for SMR throughout the season and will likely do so at DMV Live too. The 5’9” guard is slippery and shifty off the bounce with good burst and the ability to touch the paint, he can create space and can make shots from multiple levels and he gets hot quickly and fills it up in bunches.
