There were many standouts throughout the event, and plenty of offers were thrown around as well. Here’s a look at part two of the 2025 standouts from the Virginia schools in attendance.
Julian Rivera Julian Rivera 6'1" | PG Highland | 2025 State VA | 6’1” PG | Highland School
Highland has a new look this year with a number of new players, but Rivera is their top returner from their state championship team last year and showed his all-around positive impact he has on the game. He’s a good ball handler and decision maker who creates for others, he can make shots from multiple levels, he is a lock down defender who will guard the other team’s best perimeter scorer and he is very efficient when he picks his spots. He ended event averaging 11.5 points on 67% shooting from the field, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
Nate Ament Nate Ament 6'8" | SF Highland | 2025 State #12 Nation VA | 6’8” WF | Highland School
Ament has emerged as one of the top prospects in the country over the last year, and he had quite a few coaches watching him and reeled in some offers over the weekend. The 6’8” forward has very good ball skills for his size as he can put it on the deck in transition and in isolation situations, he’s a good shooter who doesn’t need much space and his length allows him to finish and protect the rim as well. He finished the event averaging 11 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2 blocks per game.
Sabree Scott | 6’5” WF | Highland School
Scott has been on the radar for a while now and looks like he’s starting to turn the corner as he played with aggression and showed his massive upside moving forward. At 6’5” he has a great frame for his position and is a good athlete when he gets downhill, he plays above the rim and has the strength to play through contact and he is showing rapid improvement in his consistency and production. He finished the event averaging 11 points and 3.5 rebounds per game.
Shane Lincoln Shane Lincoln 6'4" | PG Bishop O'Connell | 2025 State VA | 6’4” CG | Bishop O’Connell
Lincoln enjoyed much more freedom this weekend than he did last year, and he showed the ability to be the primary ball handler and make plays for himself and others. He has great size for his position with long arms that allows him to get deflections and challenge shots, he changes speeds well and can touch the paint and he is an efficient shot maker from multiple levels. He finished the event averaging 9.3 points on 53% shooting from the field, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
Wyatt Norton Wyatt Norton 6'8" | C Bishop O'Connell | 2025 State VA | 6’8” PF | Bishop O’Connell
While Norton didn’t put up the biggest numbers, he showed his big time potential moving forward and was a great glue guy off the bench with his mix of size, energy and shot making. At 6’8” he is mobile and runs the floor with good athleticism as a finisher, he can step out and make shots on the perimeter and made tough shots from all over and he even showed the ability to handle the ball in transition and in isolation situations. He averaged 7.5 points on 56% shooting from the field and 6 rebounds in 14.8 minutes per game.
