There were many standouts throughout the event, and plenty of offers were thrown around as well. Here’s a look at part one of the 2025 standouts from the Virginia schools in attendance.
Cameron Mise Cameron Mise 5'11" | PG Hopewell | 2024 State VA | 6’0” PG | Hargrave
Mise was one of the most impressive players throughout the event, as he dominated in every game and put up huge numbers across the board for his team. The former Hopewell star showed his ability to get to spots off the bounce and make tough shots from all three levels, he rebounded exceptionally well for his position, he made plays for others, locked up defensively and showed a lot of toughness while getting the best of very good guards. He finished the event averaging 25.8 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Riley Jacobs Riley Jacobs 6'8" | C St. Stephen's & St. Agnes | 2025 State VA | 6’8” PF | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes
Jacobs was one of the most impressive big men throughout the event, as he was both productive and efficient and made plays across the board for his team. He’s a fundamental and high motor big with great footwork and touch around the paint, he dominates the glass on both ends of the floor and he makes plays defensively as he gets deflections and protects the rim too. His high motor led him to averaging 17.8 points on 58% shooting, 10 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.5 blocks per game.
Chance Mallory Chance Mallory 5'10" | PG St. Anne's Belfield | 2025 State #73 Nation VA | 5’8” PG | STAB
This spring coaches have finally started to realize it doesn’t matter how small Mallory is, as he can play and dominate with anyone and he did so at the DMV Live against some of the top teams and prospects in the country. The 5’8” lead guard is savvy, smart and skilled as he can knock down shots from deep with good range; he’s tough when he gets downhill and draws contact; he makes plays for others; and he’s a surprisingly great rebounder for his size. He finished the event averaging 20 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1 steal per game.
Austin Williford Austin Williford 6'4" | CG Saint Anne’s Belfield | 2025 State #137 Nation VA | 6’5” WF | STAB
Williford is one of the best two way wings in the 2025 class, as he’s an all-out high motor player with great length and athleticism that does whatever it takes to win. His offensive skillset continues to improve as he made shots consistently from deep, he gets downhill off the bounce and finishes around the rim, he is a good rebounder and he shines defensively with his versatility and the ability to lock down the other team’s best player. He finished the event averaging 16.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
Gabriel D’Alessandro | 6’2” WG | STAB
D’Alessandro is the unsung glue guy of this group, as he is a great third option and when he plays well STAB usually is going to come out on top. He’s a strong off guard who can play through contact and stay on balance, he can knock down shots from deep and has an excellent midrange game and he has a great IQ and feel for the game as he doesn’t make many mistakes. He finished the event averaging 8.3 points, 4 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.
Adlan Elamin Adlan Elamin 6'8" | SF Paul VI | 2025 State #266 Nation VA | 6’7” WF | Paul VI
Elamin is a new addition to an already very talented PVI team, and while he showed promise on O’Connell last year he looks like he’s ready to take a big leap this year. Coming off the bench for PVI he provided a big spark with his ability to make shots from deep, use his length and athleticism to rebound and finish at the rim and he showed the ability to put it on the deck and create shots for himself too. The 6’7” wing has great physical and athletic tools and averaged 8.8 points on 57% shooting from the field and 56.3% shooting from deep and pitched in 4.5 rebounds in 15.3 minutes per game.
