Luke made a huge jump this past season getting solid minutes for Bingham as a freshman. Not easy when you are playing in a program that has all players on the roster playing defense at a high level and with a high motor, for a freshman to start and get as many minutes as he got he is in a small company. He has been quiet this Spring because he is nursing an injury. If this kid can stay healthy he is a big time find and get at the SG position because he can also play the 1 if he needs to. Look for him to continue to prove his stock with his level of play.
Carlo is a super tough PG that can score the rock. He also proved that he can dish the rock as well as he was able to get his team into offense and into great situations while he was the lead guard. Another solid 2026 prospect starting for a 6A team, that is not easy. Herriman has had some dudes on the squad but this year might be different as Carlo looks to lead Herriman into those top tier teams in Region 2. If he is allowed to play free and in the flow he is a player that can go off in a flurry.
Put this kid on almost any other squad in the area and he is a started or a player that gets major minutes. This kid is learning from the best that are ahead of him as Olympus has had a legacy of guards that have come through the program. Caden can handle the ball and shoot the ball a perfect combination to play at a high level. Look for him to see the floor a lot more at the varsity level next season.
Tyler is quickly rising up the rankings and he is also growing a lot. With a lot of sports in his background including a BYU Hall of Fame family member he is starting to get that athleticism, speed and strength. He is shooting the ball with consistency and you can see that skill development pay off. It really looks like he might start for CCHS next season or at least be the 6th man. That’s saying a lot since not too many sophomores get those kind of minutes. Stay tuned on this kid.
This kid is one of those players that can just get to work as he brings it every night. If he gets no shots off in a quarter he is making plays in other ways and when he does get some shots off he makes buckets. He is a defender that will not get pushed around as he plays with strength and maturity. He is a player that you can tell spends time in the weight room. He should have a bigger role next year.
This kid is a do it all young player and that is why he will likely see minutes next year for the reigning state champions in 5A. Zack will play any position and he will not complain he will actually play with a high motor and he gives major energy and effort. He will likely see time playing JV and he will gain a lot of experience and confidence there as he will probably score in double figures and rebound the ball like crazy.
