Chris is one of those prototypical athletes/players that is oozing potential. The past two years he has been putting in work as he went from a thin freshman that was raw to now being a strong athlete with upper body strength and lower body strength that allows him to defend out of his position in high school and club. Right now he is flying under the radar in the eyes of college coaches but he is on that list of players that will make an assistant coach at the next level really look smart. Chris is a 3 at the next level as he can shoot and slash and also has the height to play at the highest level. That height is not the only thing that he brings, he brings all-around skills as he can rebound and go. He can pass and he keeps his vision up. He is moving a lot better without the ball when the play isn’t coming his way and he is making some tough shots through cntact fall. His outside shooting is good and will only get better, but overall he is a HM kid that in time and with development and patience will be a next level stud, he has a lot of upside.
Ace will joining the long list of ultimate PG that are a little bit smaller but that you so not want to guard. If you can look back at guards like Brandon Sly (Riverton), Tyus Jefferson (Herriman), Thomas Bullock (West), All three of these players had excellent college careers and even pro careers for that matter. Ace brings a lot to a team and not just a lead by example work ethic he is a player that transforms a team. When he joined Alta it really put them over the top last season and this season he has taken a bit more of a scoring role early but he is a player that can balance a team with his passing and creating ability. He is strong and can really put pressure on the ball. With many college coaches courting him he is going to land at a really good spot for him to see the floor and continue to grow his game so e he can get to the highest level. Althoughhe will fall a few spots in the rankings due to some movement and new players moving in, it does NOT dimenish one bit that this kid is an absolute baller.
Highlights
This kid went from playing center to really making a massive jump in the last year to being a true prospect that could ply the 4 at the next level. Not only does he have size but he has slimmed down and he looks really athletic. Watching him run the floor on his AAU team he is a changed player for sure as he is out on the wings and is able to spread the floor because he can actually shoot the ball. This all comes quickly but you can see the level of growth he has with the way he is running and scoring the ball. Reece has found something and if he continues on this path he has some really high upside. He is going to be a steal if a small school can convince him to play for them but he might find himself in a good situation to choose from some good programs in the future.
KJ is the type of player that can be serviceable as a lead guard or shooting guard. That versatile ability is due to the fact that he is willing to do whatever he needs to do to win games. He is a player that can run off of screens and pin-downs and score from deep. He can beat pressure if you pick him up too high. When he does get to the college level and he is given his job and task he is going to blossom. His game can really impact a program right away because he is strong and might still be growing. He is going to be a great find and will only get better.
A lot of people have just gotten a glimpse of him the past two seasons but this kid is unreal. He would start at any high school regardless of classification and do well. He is a double-double skillset player that can rebound, pass and jump out of the gym. Whatever local school can pull him will be getting a premier athlete that is just getting started. His shooting has improved, his back to the basket game is getting better and his rip and go attacks are also improving. With a high ceiling he is a player that might end up playing right away when he does get to college. He is. D1 prospect that has many schools looking at him.
