As always, we had boots on the ground from tip-off to the final buzzer and had plenty of content throughout the event. Let’s take a look at some of my evaluation on a few prospects.
This was the first time I had gotten to see Bellamy play since his injury earlier this year. While it took him a little to get going in the Kokomo-Center Grove, he would eventually make his presence felt. As the primary ball handler for Kokomo and has great court vision and can really carve up the defense with goo ball handles and speed. He can also shoot it from deep, creating on the dribble. He is going to play an important role for Kokomo this season and could end up being a good compliment to Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN .
Karson Rogers Karson Rogers 6'6" | PF Kokomo | 2024 State IN – 6’6 2024 PF – Kokomo
Speaking of compliments to Flory Bidunga Flory Bidunga 6'9" | C Kokomo | 2024 State #7 Nation IN , Karson Rodgers showed me he is capable of that in the front court. Rodgers plays with such a fantastic motor and really works his tail off on the floor. He has the athletic ability and the willingness to crash the glass and defend. Also showed he could be capable of stretching the floor. By the end of this upcoming season, Kokomo could have the best frontcourt in the state.

Schmitz is a tough guard that showed an ability to play both on and off the ball. Thought he did a really good job when he was able to get out in transition while also scoring through contact. While he can shoot it from the outside, thought he was at his best scoring 15ft and in with a floater and short baseline jumper. Also liked how hard he played overall. He also hit the game-winning free throws.
Bundy was one of the players that impressed me the most over the weekend. He has legit combo guard abilities and just has an overall smoothness to his game. He is not the tallest or quickest player on the floor, but does a great job of creating on the dribble. He hot some really tough shots that ultimately helped lead Center Grove past Kokomo. Bundy is projecting to be a high volume scorer for Center Grove this season and could end up being one of the best shooters in the state.

At 6-foot-6, Byrd is a long and lanky forward that has some intriguing parts to his game. He is pretty smooth from the wing but also is versatile enough to play the post both on the offense and defense. Finished well around the basket, but wanted him to be just a little bit more aggressive as he is the biggest player for this Center Grove team.
Ward is a guard that can play both on and off the ball but has a true scoring mindset. He looked like he has added some size since the last time I saw him play and he was knocking down the deep ball, like he does so well. In the game I watched of his, he ended up with 32 points and 6 threes. While he does have a scoring mindset, I just advise him to take better shot selection and and have better decision making when it comes to getting a shot off. I think that is the next step in his development, but love his aggressive scoring mindset.
Henry has proved to be one of the bigger stock risers in the in-state 2025 class. When I watched him over the weekend, he was attacking the glass and protecting the rim like he does so well. His length, natural strength, and motor are what really stand out to me when I watch him. However, I would like to see him become more “alpha” and play like the best player on the floor, which he often times is. He has the skill to play in the post and stretch it out, just want to see him takeover more like he is capable of.
This was my first time able to watch Reynold since the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase last year and man did I leave so impressed. To me, Reynolds style of play is the definition of a “hooper.” He can get a bucket at three levels, especially from behind the arc. He does a great job creating on the ball and one of the more impressive parts of his game is that the ball never really sticks with him. On the defensive end, he really competes and his athletic ability is a massive advantage to him on that end. The upside for this guy is limitless and he is one to watch these next few years.

Prior is a longer guard that looks like he is projecting to be a nice complement piece for 2025 forward Trent Sisley Trent Sisley 6'8" | PF Heritage Hills | 2025 State #47 Nation IN . He has a real fluid style to his game and I thought he had one of the better mid-range jumpers throughout the weekend. He moves well off of the ball, freeing up space on the floor. While almost everything runs through Sisley, Prior has a real chance to take some pressure off of him, especially when it comes to scoring.

Hall was by far one of the best players that many saw over the weekend. He is a super athlete in a way that is hard to stop once he gets going and has tremendous around the rim. The left-handed guard also is a great shooter from deep and his dynamic ability allows him to create extremely well on the ball. The skills he has at such a young age is real impressive and there is no question that this guy will be one of the top 2026s in the state these next few years.
Due to his size and athleticism, Maye was one of the players that really caught my eye over the weekend. He is a fantastic rim runner and really attacks the glass super hard. As a big, he has some solid bounce and a willingness to defend the post. When it comes to offense, he is not entirely there yet and he still has some rawness to his game. As a high level athlete and ability to play his role, there is a lot to like about him. He will be really big for Tindley this season.
Kirby looks like he is going to play a major role for this loaded Fishers team this season. While he is an extremely good athlete, I was real impressed with his catch-and-shooting ability and how well he gets to his spots. He has a lot of bounce to his game and plays really well off Jalen Haralson Jalen Haralson 6'7" | PG La Lumiere | 2025 #8 Nation IN . Really competes on the defensive end and could project to be a true D-and-3 type of player. He is going to help Fishers win a lot of games this season. Potential is through the roof.
