Mercer Island, Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, Marysville, and Eastside Catholic are represented to name a few schools from these players high school teams. Here is a breakdown of some of the standouts.
Stands out in most any game you watch him play with his elite level athletic ability and length at the guard position. High energy player who excels on the defensive end. He can be and is willing to be a lock down defender. He has improved his outside shooting, and can shoot it off the bounce or the catch. Elite ability to shake the defense for the pull-up jumper. His ability to get downhill is always a threat, with the quickness and relentless nature he attacks the basket. He attacks with a purpose and can finish at the rim with a variety of shots or dunks. His desire and hustle on the defensive end don’t take plays off. This is what makes him invaluable as an impact player even if he isn’t scoring. He rebounds well and is outstanding in the open floor. He has speed, quickness, and dawg that doesn’t go away. His pull-up jumper extends beyond the three point line and is. His attitude from afar seems that of a coachable player, something you see from how he picks himself and his teammates up off the floor.

Shows a good feel for the game from either guard spot. He is a good shooter who can hit the mid-range jumper all day long. He is capable of getting it going left or right. He changes pace well to get into mid-range game, and makes good reads on when to take it all the way to the rim. When he does go to the rim, he has good body control, and is strong enough to finish through contact. Steady ball handler who plays with his head up. He also adds a spin move he uses in the mid game to get shots off and has a nice little fade away in the lane. He sees the floor well and will find the open man. He should develop into more of an elite level shooter as he gets stronger.
Brayden is lefty guard/wing player who is scrappy with good length. He has long arms and is built for defense with his quirk and high energy style of play. He is also a skilled player who can score if needed, showing the ability to create and finish well around the rim. He played with a good understanding of floor spacing, passes well on the perimeter, including some nifty one arm lasers through the defense. He took a couple charges in a high level AAU game, which speaks to the type of player he is. He is rangy and can be effective around the basket both rebounding and scoring. He was a 3rd team all league selection at Thomas Jefferson this season as a sophomore. He looks to be a versatile player who can make that next step this season.
Lots of length and mobility to play the three through five with good athletic ability to rebound and run the floor. The length and quick feet can develop into a defensive stopper and shot blocking big. Plays with a lot of energy and should fill out in the upper body. Adding that strength will help him with his post game. He already has that quick first step and is capable and willing to rebound at a high level.

A big who runs the floor well and is mobile in the post. Showed the ability to rebound at a high level and moves feet fairly well on defense. Seems to be capable of guarding multiple positions from the three to the five. I didn’t see a lot of chances on the block on the offensive end but goes to the basket strong when he did get the chance. Lots of room to grow and develop into an all around player in the post with good size and length. Capable shot changer and rim defender. As a young post player, you see in him what you would want when looking into the future.
