With the NCAA transfer portal jamming up high school recruiting, we expect there will be a host of extremely talented players to switch schools this spring/summer. Many of them will reclass into a later graduation year.

Below is the fourth installment in our Transfer Watch 2023 series.
Torrey Brooks Torrey Brooks 5'11" | PG Neumann-Goretti | 2026 State PA Jr. – 5’10″ / Freshman / Neumann-Goretti / Team Final E15 / Point Guard: The Saints will never be able to replace Robert Wright III Robert Wright III 6'0" | PG Montverde Academy (FL) | 2024 State #35 Nation FL (Transferring to Montverde Academy), but the addition of Brooks will soften that blow.Brooks is a quick point guard with slick handles. He uses his dribble drive skills to create opportunities for himself and to facilitate for teammates. In 2022-23 Brooks played for League Bound Academy (NJ) where he averaged 17 points, 9.4 assists and 3 rebound per game. He posted seven games of 20+ points.
Kasey Fleming Kasey Fleming 6'3" | SG George | 2026 State PA – 6’3″ / Sophomore / George School / Philly Revolution / Shooting Guard: Fleming is departing LaSalle CHS and transferring to George School where he will reclass into the 2026 graduation year. During his freshman season at LaSalle, Fleming started seventeen games. He averaged 6 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per night. Fleming is an accurate spot up three-point shooter. He can also get out in transition. There his size, strength, and athleticism enable him to finish through contact. Fleming is a solid rebounding guard too.
Teddy Pendergrass III – 6’2″ / Senior / Phelps School / WeR1 Select 17s / Combo Guard: This Lower Merion standout helped guide LM to the 2021-22 District 1-6A title. Then as a senior he helped push LM to another 20+ win season. In 2022-23 Pendergrass averaged 5.3 ppg. and shot 39% from behind the arc. He scored a season high 22 points against Ridley. Now Pendergrass will take his deep bag of dribble drive tricks and high percentage 3-point shooting to Phelps School for a post graduate year.
Nico Pulieri – 6’3″ / Senior / Phelps School / PA Coalition / Point Guard: During the2022-23 season Pulieri (10.6 ppg.; 3rd Team All-EPC selection) was a two-way standout for an Allentown Central Catholic team that advanced to 4A state semifinals. Pulieri scored 16 points in that 4A semis loss to powerhouse Neumann Goretti. Pulieri owns a smooth mid-range game, can score off the dribble and excels at turning steals / deflections into buckets. He will even drain the occasional triple (30 3PM last season). After graduation from ACCHS, Pulieri will move on to Phelps School for a post graduate year.
Tobe Nwobu, Jr. Tobe Nwobu, Jr. 6'1" | PG Academy of the New Church | 2026 State PA Jr. – 6’2″ / Freshman / Academy of New Church / Shoreshots Rio / Point Guard: One of the top ranked2026backcourt prospects in New Jersey will bring his talents to Academy of New Church for the 2023-24 season. Nwobu is a three-level scorer who possess a quick first step. He owns excellent court vision and passing skills too. Last winter at Camden Catholic he averaged 17.7 points per game and knocked home 65 triples. His tremendous season was rewarded with a 1st Team All-Olympic League (National Division) selection.
