Metro Atlanta is known for its next level talent and rightfully so, but there are talented players scattered throughout Georgia in rural areas and cities just too far for most to know intimately. Here’s a look at some of the Peach State’s better players tucked away in small schools dispersed throughout the GHSA.
Kennesaw State, Seattle and Cincinnati have all offered the skilled inside-out forward. The Class 6A Freshman of the Year made an immediate impact, averaging 14 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.6 steals and 3.8 blocks per game while hitting 43 threes.

Harris provided Bacon County a shot in the arm offensively, pouring in a team-high 15.6 points per game. The 5-foot-11 playmaker also averaged 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.4 steals while connecting on 28% of his threes.

Cherry emerged as a go-to guy in Year 1 for a rebuilding Peach County program. Cameron posted 14.1 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He is a well-balanced scorer that mixes in slashes to the rim with outside shots. Cherry knocked down 28 threes, 67 free throws and 51 two-point baskets.
