Thompson was a big time head turner playing with Hardwood Midwest at the PH Circuit’s Midwest Melee. He showed the offensive and defensive skills to play at the next level. Thompson scored in a variety of ways, often earning very good looks at the rim through his versatility and spacing. His weekend was probably highlighted by a 32 point game.

Thompson had a big weekend with BNB 16u and he’s put himself on the map. Thompson was a downhill scorer that could get buckets in traffic. He also crashed the boards hard. Thompson had 2 standout games with 18 points and 7 rebounds and a 24 point and 11 rebound double-double.
Mercer continued to his grassroots hot streak with another stand out performance for the Motor City Grizzliez. He showed coaches at the next level that he’s a shifty guard that can create for himself and his teammates off the bounce. Mercer had a 19 point game in a tough grind it out win that highlighted his weekend.
Ty Vaughn
Ty Vaughn
Vaughn put on a show helping to lead his United Persuit 2026 team to a 4-0 weekend at the Midwest Melee. He was dynamite with his left hand, but also showed that he could finish on either side of the rim. Vaughn was a multi level scorer that looked pure on his catch and shoot opportunities. In fact, he hit 4 triples on his way to a 19 point game over the weekend.
Champagne is, and has been, sending a message to coaches at the next level. He once again turned heads with the North Oakland Wolfpack. Champagne is a shooter and scorer that everyone needs to be very aware of. He had an impressive 18 point game last weekend.
Talk about a breakout grassroots season, Haight is having one. He’s a great advertisement for the Prep Hoops Circuit, as all the right people are seeing what this young man can do and his name has been red hot this grassroots season. Haight is simply an elite shooter that can put up points in bunches and turn the tide of a game with a big jumper. Haight turned heads yet again at the Midwest Melee.
