Wilson Amos of AUSA Australia. Amos led his team to a 4-0 record in the second pool of 17u play and he did it with another weekend of 16/17 points per game level of play. Amos had the best motor I saw all weekend and he combined it with skill and activity within the framework of what his team was doing. Plays a high effort, highly matured game that I think can help a college program next fall.
Colton Benson Colton Benson 6'5" | SF New Ulm | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Rise. In four games this weekend Benson led his team to a 4-0 record and he did it with 19 three pointers made on his way to 116 points per game! That’s a 29 point per game average and Benson did it with feet set, he did it in the post, he did it on the attack, and Colton got to the foul line. It was an all around scoring effort with strong percentages and Colton did it within the team framework helping his team win games.
Kyle Counts Kyle Counts 6'7" | PF Wilsonville | 2024 State OR of Deny (Oregon). Every person that came across Counts this past weekend – opposing coaches, players, fans, college coaches, etc – raved about his skill level. All areas of it. The shooting touch in all ways, his ball skills to get to space, his ability to pass the ball, the footwork, and everything else, Counts used all of it to continually find space to utilize his shooting touch. Counts also has a strong frame and and a great feel and all of it adds up to a 2025 that was playing up a level. Division one caliber player and there were several D1 coaches that watched him play multiple games over the weekend.
Brandon Hrncir Brandon Hrncir 6'8" | PF Farmington | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Fury. They Fury is that team that consistently wins games through their outstanding team play. Brandon is a player that produces consistent, quality results for his team using his size, agility and skill to finishing going at the rim. We also saw Brandon score at the arc some this weekend but the biggest takeaway was Kyle’s ability to produce against similar sized athletes.
Noah Pagotto of AUSA Australia. Three hours ago Noah signed to play at West Texas A&M. The 6’7 forward played four different positions this weekend and his size and activity allowed him to do it with constant production. His AUSA Australia team went 4-0 in Pool A and they did it was Noah either the top scorer/rebounder or one of the top scorers and rebounders in each game. Teams would match-up with size on size, guards on guards, and what was often left for Noah was a guy that was shorter, younger, and not prepared to deal with the constant activity that just overwhelmed teams.
Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6'7" | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Lightning. The Lightning is off to another great start using the weekend to go 4-0 weekend in one of the other top pools of Prep Hoops Live. Wysocki is a small forward with size and explosive agility that is developing rapidly. Scholarship talent? Surely an NSIC kid and Shaun could grow into something at an even higher level based on what we saw this weekend.
