Sacred Hoops 17U Willard competed in both Prep Hoops Stomping Grounds in Sioux Falls, SD and Battle At The Lakes in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Let's breakdown five of their prospects that were standing out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1373691' first='Gavin' last='Soukup'] - 6'3” SG/Wing (2024) - Mitchell - Gavin makes the list as one of "my guys" and would pound the table for him if a college coach were to ask about him. I had him tabbed as a breakout candidate in South Dakota in a prior article. I think he's grown a couple inches and is quietly a D2 prospect as a wing. His length was quite surprising, as was his vertical jumping. He has a three-level scoring arsenal with an especially impressive middle-game. Get on-board the [player_tooltip player_id='1373691' first='Gavin' last='Soukup'] train. Major breakout coming.

[player_tooltip player_id='1493897' first='Jet' last='Janvrin'] - 6'0” PG (2024) - Rapid City Central - I saw him play live up against Aberdeen Central, and he stood out to me then. Jet is a true point guard that translates to that as well. A good handle, facilitator, creator, and feel for the point guard position. Did a nice job getting into the lane and finishing off the glass through traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='1968829' first='Parker' last='Lemer'] - 6'2” SG (2024) - Aberdeen Central - Parker happens to play in my home city and I'll make it a point to watch him in his final season. He's a next-level guy in the region and it needs to be made clear. Most likely an NAIA/D3 prospect, but he has some game and explosiveness/quickness qualities.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336177' first='Evan' last='Fornia'] - 6'6” PF (2024) - Elk Point Jefferson - Fornia is more built-up physically than I had originally envisioned. He's cut-up and has strong broad shoulders. You can tell he hits the weights and pushes big weight around. He's a beast in the interior, with a no-fluff game with no wasted movement. He's out there to produce and get it done. Did a lot of damage rebounding and finishing in the paint. I think he can compete at the D2 level with his physicality. Stock will only be going up.

[player_tooltip player_id='1688734' first='Crew' last='Heier'] - 6'4” F (2024) - West Central - In the featured image, Crew has great size and a developed, college-ready frame already. Superbly athletic to go with his size/frame. Can jump at a high level, and like Fornia, he's a physical presence. By his Twitter, he's an all-state football player and is being recruited for the sport.
