Devin Booker Devin Booker 6'5" | SF Cristo Rey Philadelphia | 2025 State #347 Nation PA | 6’5 W 2025 Cristo Rey
Booker had a coming out party of sorts during his sophomore campaign down north. Some might be surprised to see Booker out there, but it’s bigger than him. “This is a whole new team, losing Johua Wyche. So we’re just here building good habits, trying to build team chemistry with one another.” He’s also going from a guy who played off of others to the one teams are gameplanning against and he recognizes that. Cristo Rey assistant coach Dhamir Cosby-Roantree was in his ear throughout the game. Book noted that Coach Dada is on him about “using my left hand, being more aggressive towards the rim, and just playing hard.” The toolsy wing also noted that he wants to improve his “ball-handling, getting into my moves…so I can be more comfortable during the game.”
Darrius Gaeta Darrius Gaeta 6'1" | CG Northeast | 2024 State PA | 6’2 G 2024 Northeast
The Vikings are coming off of a pretty good season in their division of the Pub and continuing to build good habits this spring. Gaeta directed them to an OT win on Tuesday. As the game was coming down to the wire, he urged them to “keep fighting, keep playing together.” “I feel like I’m a playmaker, but I also can get down the court and finish.” Gaeta got into the lane and played through contact, making unselfish plays when he didn’t have the clean look for himself. He balanced winning basketball with his own development, choosing to work his dribble pullup if he couldn’t get two in the paint.
Will Lesovitz | 2026 St. Joe’s Prep
Coming straight from baseball practice, Lesovitz dropped a 27 piece meal in his first spring basketball game with the Hawks. The multi-sport athlete played JV as a freshman but has lots to offer an experienced varsity group. “I would say that I’m a great defender, I’m a playmaker, I can get to the rim, and I can shoot the three.” Lesovitz adds size on the wing to SJP’s 6-man rotation from a season ago, which featured 5 guards.
When asked what his coaches expect from him in this setting, he shared they want him “mostly to try new things, try to be a primary ball-handler to get my dribbling and my shooting better.”
Naseem Perez Naseem Perez 5'10" | PG West Catholic | 2025 State PA | 5’9 G 2025 West Catholic
The Burrs came out firing on all cylinders Tuesday thanks to Perez’s leadership. “I feel like I did solid, but we always gotta bring more to the table. I tried to get all my teammates involved. That’s what I need to do better.” “I’m working on trying to be the best point guard I can be…I need to lead more without just talking about it.” That’s something that Coach Boc is preaching and something that Perez is taking the initiative to apply. “I’m coming behind Budd Clark. He was a good leader. So now that just fell down on me, on my plate. I need to take heed of that.” The 5’9 point guard drained a couple three balls and got into the paint. Also playing with 610 City for AAU, “I’m working on finishing and getting stronger” and “I get a lot of shots up every day.”
