Under the Radar – Quick Hits
Kevin Beck Kevin Beck 6'2" | CG Father Judge | 2025 State PA | 6’4 W/F 2025 Philly Revolution 16U
Beck took and made a ton of threes throughout the event. He has a high release and a high-arcing shot that he easily gets off after relocating or spotting up.
Nolan Gerwer Nolan Gerwer 6'8" | C Archbishop Carroll | 2024 PA | 6’8 F/C 2024 PMT Warriors 17U
Gerwer was impactful running the floor and using his size. He routinely altered shots and converted high-percentage looks around the rim. He had 1 sequence where he blocked a shot then sprinted down the court for an oop.
Junior McFadden Junior McFadden 6'5" | PF Malvern Prep | 2025 State PA | F 2025 PSB Philly 16U
The rising junior has some untapped athleticism, but he embraced his height advantage in the paint. McFadden scored using quick and physical moves with his back to the basket.
Amir Nelson Amir Nelson 5'10" | PG Cristo Rey Philadelphia | 2025 State PA | 5’10 G 2025 Philly Pride UAA 16U
Nelson showed the ability to play on and off the ball. He knocked down multiple threes off the catch. And when he drove to the basket, he played off two feet and found angles to finish.
Amir Speights Amir Speights 6'4" | PF Constitution | 2024 State PA | 6’4 W/F 2024 Philly Blue Magic 17U
Often operating around the elbow and the mid-post, Speights was a legit threat to shoot, drive or make plays for others. Defensively, he impressed as a weak-side rim protector.
Brandon Williams Brandon Williams 6'4" | CG West Philladelphia | 2025 State PA | 6’5 W 2025 BW Elite 16U
Blending agility and burst, Williams just smooth. He displayed the ability to shoot off of movement on one end and lock-up opposing scorers off-ball.
Clutch Performers
Munir Greig Munir Greig 6'0" | CG Now a 2027 | 2027 PA | W 2027 NJ Scholars EYBL 15U
Going head-to-head against WeR1 UAA in a marquee game on Friday, Greig showed a ton of promise. WeR1 took the lead late in the second half with their tough shotmaking. Greig stepped up on defense by playing tighter at the point of attack. Using his length and lateral mobility, Greig forced WeR1’s leading scorer to his off-hand, not allowing him to get in rhythm and stalling WeR1’s offense. Winning that matchup helped them swing the momentum and ultimately win the game.
Josh Reed Josh Reed 6'3" | CG Archbishop Wood | 2024 State PA | G 2024 Philly Revolution 17U
In Revolution 17’s third game of the weekend, they were in a high-tilt, physical match against an equally talented PA Coalition squad that went to OT. Reed showcased his two-way ability, guarding on/off-ball and using strength to slash to the cup. After a latemental lapse on his part, Revolution went down a basket. Reed responded by getting a steal on defense and going 4-4 from the free throw line down the stretch to deliver the victory.
