NTBA State Tourney

Some players were getting in some last run before college next fall. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1032749' first='Aiden' last='Brantley']</strong> a football signee at Newberry led the way today with 23 points in a win over the North Myrtle Beach Warriors. Teammates <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1016449' first='Phillip' last='McLean'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1234832' first='Cameron' last='Alston']</strong> both provided 10 and 9 points respectively. Brown a junior attends North Myrtle Beach HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1485128' first='Connor' last='Henley']</strong> chipped in 8 points in the loss. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>WBC Elite Rolls in Game: </em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Wilmington Basketball Club based out North Carolina rolled in a game we were able to catch on Sunday vs Coastal Select. The WBC Elite led from the start to finish in this lopsided game.<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1220122' first='Rodmik' last='Allen']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1220121' first='Zeus' last='Batts']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1950203' first='Kellum' last='Brown']</strong> all provided plenty of scoring punch here today. He excels in the transition game with his burst of speeds to the cup or just stopping and popping from the perimeter. Rodmik at times looks to be a few steps ahead of everyone else on the floor. Zeus can drive to the rack or simply leave off a crisp pass off to a teammate to score the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brown is a member of the 2026 class and still looks to be growing for the down road. This trio looks to have the New Hanover HS Wildcats heading in the right direction in the years to come. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
