[player_tooltip player_id='1963960' first='Jaden' last='Webster'] Leads FVV Comeback vs Indy Game

[player_tooltip player_id='1963960' first='Jaden' last='Webster'] continued to impress this weekend from the very beginning of this game. Started this contest by burying two jumpers right in his face. But [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] would stick there behind stellar performances and contributions by a handful of players. Anthony Murphy was one of those. He showed lots of condifence scoring the ball early with a spin move score down the lane and a couple more contested buckets. Late in the first half, 6'5” F [player_tooltip player_id='1578442' first='Michael' last='Wellman'] flexed his strength inside for a pair of buckets. He then extended his own range for a three to give Indy Game a 38-27 halftime Lead.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538988' first='Sterling' last='Hoarde'] would help keep FVV in it with a couple more buckets in the second half. But his defense started to really open my eyes. Deflected and stripped the ball on numerous occasions while also squaring his feet well to attackers. Back-to-back three's from [player_tooltip player_id='1963960' first='Jaden' last='Webster'] tied the game at 53. He then hit two more in a row to make it a six point game. FVV Held on for a 60-56 win. [player_tooltip player_id='1963960' first='Jaden' last='Webster'] scored 19 and Cooper Huffman had 20 in the win.

A Look at 17U [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game']

Got to see 17U [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] for twice this weekend. Yesterday, they made a double digit comeback to beat all-in and they beat [program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] this afternoon. I was really impressed with the upside from Adyn Mcginley. He's a lengthy forward who can score at all three levels and draw fouls. His long arms give him a positive advantage on the boards too. He threw down a ferocious slam in the second half of their game against Lockdown.

Yesterday, [player_tooltip player_id='1275808' first='David' last='Cundiff'] led a remarkable comeback against all-in, hitting shot after shot from all over the floor. Throughout the weekend, Cundiff flashed tremendous ball-handling abilities and showed how much of a floor general he can be. A turnaround jumper gave them the lead in their first and Cundiff knocked down some clutch free throws to extend it in that games final minutes. He was very efficient against Lockdown today too. Scoring 16 points and hitting shot after shot in different spaces. Also had some great looks too. [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] won 68-60.

Danforth Leads FVV past All-Heart

G [player_tooltip player_id='2105424' first='Brian' last='Harper'] was all over the floor to start for FVV. He hit a corner three and had a reverse layup to begin this contest, while [player_tooltip player_id='1845353' first='Amir' last='Danforth'] used his speed and athleticism to get his own buckets too. On the other side, PG Chase Martin was knocking down shots everywhere and scored 12 points in the first ten minutes. The game was close early until [player_tooltip player_id='1845353' first='Amir' last='Danforth'] led a big run to give FVV a double digit lead at halftime. Danforth opened the second half with a three of his own and a nice assist to [player_tooltip player_id='2105424' first='Brian' last='Harper']. When All-Heart crawled back in it, Danforth scored the next seven points to keep them up comfortably. He showed tremendous speed down the floor and a smooth euro-step finish in the lane. I also noticed the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='2323314' first='Mikwan' last='Marshall']. He hit a couple three's early on but displayed a smooth floater a few times later in the contest. He was also efficient scoring from the baseline and even created a second-chance opportunity for himself. FVV won 75-55

[program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] Blows Out [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose']

I ended the weekend with [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] and [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose']. Anthony Murphy had a terrific start in this one for [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game']. Two explosive finishes at the rim and a midrange jumper gave him six quick points. Forward [player_tooltip player_id='1578442' first='Michael' last='Wellman'] did an outstanding job creating scoring chances off the pick-and-roll too. The 6'5” F displayed tons of strength and explosiveness on both games I watched today. [program_tooltip program_id='2075551' first='Indiana' last='Game'] was up comfortably in the first half with Anthony Murphy taking control. He ended the opening frame with a fast break slam while also threading the needle for a solid dime to Wellman. In the second half, Wellman converted an and-one and threw down a dunk to further extend the lead to 25. A late run by [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] was not enough and Indy Game held on to win 62-49.
