Big time scoring threat who played really against his former program. Johnson scored from every way showing his versatility to shoot from outside along with attacking and kicking in the lane.

6’3 (AR Elite) 2026
Delaney is a bigger guard who recently picked up his first offer coming into the event this weekend. He has an advanced knowledge of the game and is an exceptional shooter. As a lefty he gets the best of defenders because he has mismatches often due to him being one of the bigger players on his team.
Lual Abiel 6’0 (United Persuit) 2024
Very impressed by Abiel. I was drawn to his athleticism off a fast break dunk, but later saw how skilled he is off the dribble and is able to score at the bucket in various fashions. Abiel has long arms and is very shifty with the ball and dangerous when attacking because he can finish with either hand.

I left the Midwest Melee knowing that Rakim is a gamer. Chaney is an exceptional shooting guard who made big shots when his team needed them most. Rakim is also a threat when getting downhill and to the paint.
Kelvion Brown 6’3 (Indiana Game) 2025
Brown didn’t shoot much to impact the game, but a lot of his activity in the game carried his team to a come from behind win. Kelvion has a big frame and uses it well. He can rebound, take guys off the dribble, and uses his vision to find open teammates.
Cyrus Jones 5’11 (Chicagoland Grit N Grind) 2024
Jones played well in his game this weekend. Quick hands on defense being able to turn many steals into points. On offense he proved to be a solid third scoring threat for a team that’s playing up a level. Cyrus showed upside at finishing plays he’s attacking off the dribble with floaters and making the extra pass.

6’4 (Team Rose) 2024
Pickett played the role of a utility man this weekend. Being whatever chess piece his coach needed him to be for the moment. He rebounded well, put pressure on the defense by getting to the line, and scored from the mid-range. Josh is showing he has a high IQ for the game and does the necessary things to stay on the court.
Brandon Watson

5’9 (Greater Purpose) 2024
I loved the tenacity of Watson on defense. His motor, speed and agility helped him slow down one of the top guards in the state. Brandon was also instrumental on offense hitting some key buckets for GPA giving them the much needed boost to their signature win of the weekend.
Collin Gerrity 6’4 (Illinois Attack) 2024
A three level scoring machine who gets after it on both ends. Collin was seen all over the court impacting the game. He got several steals in transition which he converted to layups. Gerrity finishes with both hands around the rim and is dangerous when left open on the perimeter.
Carson Brownfield

6’3 (Flight Athletics) 2024
Carson is a bigger guard who gets in the paint and makes teams pay. He scores well off the bounce for his size, keeps players on his hip, and takes a bump or two when looking to finish the play. His shot is still improving from three but he gets his fair share of free-throws each game.
