Since, an event such as this, which was stacked with a lot of competitive teams, singling out individual performances is often very tough. Players driving their team’s success had to be able to make impacts on the game that included more than just points being scored. Of the five prospects listed below, four proved that they could score the ball, but all five made impacts in other areas as well. Whether it was just their presence on the court versus when they weren’t on the hardwood for their teams, maybe they applied a superior type of defense that made the impact, or maybe it was a particular skill such as rebounding, all five gave us something on how they went about giving us something special in their play.

Cam fits the bill of doing what is needed by his team to win a ball game and count me as impressed. In one game he only score nine points but he was on the floor for a loose ball. That was my first note on him that I wrote down ‘loose ball’. The very next game he was leading scorer and dropped a cool 19pts, with those points coming at all three levels. He was an active rebounder which in my view is a most important skill in controlling a game’s outcome. With his top game he was every where on the court and impressed easily. Additionally, His team went 3-1 and 1st place in their respective pool.
Jarvis Tolbert | 2026 | 6’1″ | G | South Bend Adams, IN | Indiana Game Elite
I have seen this player a couple of times this spring. I was impressed that first time, early in the season and I came away impressed this time as well. He is athletic guard, that along with his backcourt teammates just get after it on the defensive side of the game. I really like what his coach is trying to accomplish with the game plan approach because it gets a lot out of the prospects where they are strongest. This one can turn defense into offense and gets several buckets after a turnover / steal. While he goes hard to the rim and finishes strong more development is needed on a verity of finishes. Love the kid’s toughness and the foundation he already has.
Aiden Renicker | 2026 | 6″1″| W | Benet, IL | IL Attack
As noted in another article this prospect might have had the single game performance of the tournament on Friday night. Scoring 27 points in every conceivable manner, including a very nifty floater over an aggressive opponent, which was impressive. During the second half, when the other team tried their best to make it a tighter game, this prospect hits three straight 3s Everyone watching could just tell he was feeling it and he was able to just slam the door on them. For me, what set this one out from the rest of the players was the pace and speed that he played at as compared to everyone else, especially in his big game. He was moving faster than all others and then was under control at the same time.

More so than any other player in the tournament, that I was able to see, this player effected the game being played, when he was out to when he was on the court. The opponents were that much aware and changed their approaches because of his presence on the hardwood. At this point in his progress he is not a big scorer, allowing his talented teammates to carry the load there, but in every other aspect he made an impact and contribution. One of the first things that I had noticed was his passing ability, thinking he was nice and willing passer out of the post.

This is prospect that left me with wanting to see more. He had some very nice games and at least one in particular incredible contest where he went for a game controlling 26pts. He scored mostly going hard to the hoop but did hit an occasional three. On his big game not only did he go to the rim continuously but, he got to the line a lot also. Hitting nine of his 26 points were from the charity stripe: impressive.
