<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From the Sycamore High and Eagleville High area, [program_tooltip program_id='2100070' first='TN' last='BRIGADE'] are a relatively new name to the PrepHoopsTN readership. Several players from their roster camped with PrepHoopsTN in February and the squad played in both Nashville and Memphis with the Prep Hoops Circuit. What is the team's identity and what do the players looks like long-term?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The team is very unselfish, perhaps too much so. Offensive possessions are long and methodical. Many touches run through big man [player_tooltip player_id='1947455' first='Peyton' last='Applegate']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1947455' first='Peyton' last='Applegate']</strong> is the only player with meaningful height on the roster. For this reason he plays a lot of center. Peyton's base is ok, but he must strengthen his legs and hips to get a better low, rebounding position. Interestingly, Peyton can dribble a little bit. When facing up, Payton is somewhat nimble. Defending the wing down the line seems iffy, considering his legs are little heavy, but much can change physically at his age. Applegate's rise off of the ground is ok, not elite. He moves his feet decently under the rim indicating he is training as a big most often. Applegate is not explosive vertically, but he does play passable post defense without fouling.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1947289' first='Camden' last='Cole']</strong> is a scrappy yet athletic player with a little more high-end potential than his teammates. Considering his skill set at 6-foot-2, Cole is likely to ascend higher as he develops. Cole is an ok shooter with flashes of good shooting. In [program_tooltip program_id='2100070' first='TN' last='BRIGADE']'s second game of the first May weekend, Cole hit consecutive three-pointers in the first three minutes of game action. In fact, [program_tooltip program_id='2100070' first='TN' last='BRIGADE'] hopped out to an 8-0 start thanks in part to Camden's shooting. The sophomore-to-bet stayed hot late into the first half, as they improved to 35-16.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The team asks him to defend in the post some, which really is not his future. Cole jumps well and defends decently down low, but 6-foot-2 and handle does not need to live there. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Landen Arndt</strong> is feisty on defense. He really tries and cares about defense, and it can actually get him into trouble, a bit. Arndt reaches whilst defending from behind on occasion and fouls.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1860311' first='Joshua' last='Whitt']</strong>, a former PrepHoopsTN JV Camp All-Star, plays very solid basketball. Standing about 5-foot-10 Whitt defends and operates a point guard. Whitt passes with purpose and can shoot in pockets. His passing and court vision elevates above the rest of his game. Whitt defends decently on the ball, but can get even better sliding those feet. Can finish through contact ok for a sophomore-to-be.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1889704' first='Brodie' last='Webb']</strong> has a little something. Can handle. Shoot if open. He will, at his current height, bump up against taller players. Webb plays more off-the-ball than on with [program_tooltip program_id='2100070' first='TN' last='BRIGADE']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sycamore High teammates<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1956828' first='Hicks' last='Hunter']</strong> and <strong>Austin Slayton</strong>, while both undersized for the position, play with guile. They are capable of finishing in the lane, at times, with clever body contortions. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[program_tooltip program_id='2100070' first='TN' last='BRIGADE'] 2026</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table><thead><tr><th>JERSEY</th><th>NAME</th><th>CLASS</th><th>HEIGHT</th><th>SCHOOL</th><th>STATE</th><th>SOCIAL</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>1</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1827388' first='Adrian' last='Sevieri']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'8"</td><td>Eagleville</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/adrian_sevieri" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/adrian_sevieri1" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>2</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1889704' first='Brodie' last='Webb']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'10"</td><td>Smyrna</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/d1brodie2" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/d1.bwebb" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>3</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1956828' first='Hicks' last='Hunter']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'10"</td><td>Sycamore</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/hickshunter2026" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/hicks_2_hunter" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>5</strong></td><td>Austin Slayton</td><td>2026</td><td>5'8"</td><td>Sycamore</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/austin_slayton2" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/austin.5007" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>6</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1830520' first='Drake' last='Goers']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'6"</td><td>Eagleville</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/drakegoers2026" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/shakendrake_6" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>7</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='2101872' first='Yeshiyah' last='Cobb']</td><td>2026</td><td>6'2"</td><td>Oakland</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/ycobb07" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/yeshiyah_cobb" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>8</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1947455' first='Peyton' last='Applegate']</td><td>2026</td><td>6'4"</td><td>Franklin Road Christian</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/applegate2026" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>11</strong></td><td>Landen Arndt</td><td>2026</td><td>6'1"</td><td>Sycamore</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/dagoatlanden" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/landen_arndt_" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>13</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1860311' first='Joshua' last='Whitt']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'9"</td><td>Lancaster Christian Academy</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/josh_whitt_3" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/josh_whitt_13" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>20</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1947289' first='Camden' last='Cole']</td><td>2026</td><td>6'2"</td><td>Eagleville</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/cole20camden" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/ctcole_official" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>24</strong></td><td>[player_tooltip player_id='2543761' first='Abe' last='Soucy']</td><td>2026</td><td>5'10"</td><td>Providence Christian Academy</td><td>Tennessee</td><td><a target="_blank" href="https://twitter.com/abesoucy24" rel="noreferrer noopener">&nbsp;</a><a target="_blank" href="https://instagram.com/abesoucy24" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
