At Noblesville West Middle School, there were a countless number of talented 15U and 16U prospects showcasing their talent. After an action-packed day one of action, here’s my list of Friday’s top performers.

Ki’Jyere Mcalister Ki’Jyere Mcalister 6'1" | SF Toledo Rogers | 2025 State OH , a 6-foot-1 shooting guard, made a significant impact on the court for Hopson Elite 16U on Friday night, providing tons of help to his teammates both offensively and defensively. In addition to excellent size, speed and physicality on the court, Mcalister also provided solid ball movement, strong defense, success in the paint and a whole lot of explosiveness on the court. The rising junior shooting guard can also pull up from range and sink crucial shots from just about anywhere on the court. As AAU basketball action continues on Saturday, Mcalister and the Hopson Elite 16U roster will certainly be worth watching.
Christian Kynard, PF, Rice Basketball Academy 15U, Class of 2026
Christian Kynard, a 5-foot-11 power forward, was a gamechanger on both sides of the ball during Friday’s matchups in Noblesville, showcasing his solid size, speed and physicality for Rice Basketball Academy 15U. Before tipoff, Kynard was already warmed up and ready to go, quickly showing off his ability to score and cause disruption with his overall defensive awareness both on the perimeter and in the paint. The rising sophomore power forward can also make an impact outside of the three-point line with a strong jumper and accuracy from range. Kynard and Rice Basketball Academy 15U should definitely make for some entertaining basketball on Saturday.
Bentley Shelton, SG, INB 15U, Class of 2026
Bentley Shelton, a 6-foot-0 in-state shooting guard out of Evansville Harrison High School, was a gamechanging performer for INB 15U on Friday night, showing off his ability to be explosive on offense and disruptive on defense. Shelton utilizes his size and physicality to make big plays in the paint and from beyond the arc while also making the other team work for their shots. Shelton can also muscle his way to the rim while, make smart passes and solid shots from anywhere on the court. The rising sophomore out of Evansville, IN. and his teammates on INB 15U’s roster will likely continue to establish themselves in the gym on Saturday.
Ny’Shawndre Petty, SF, Nova Village 16U, Class of 2025
Ny’Shawndre Petty, a 6-foot-1 shooting forward, showcased his offensive explosiveness for Nova Village 16U at the top of the key, in the paint and anywhere in-between. Despite being a shooting forward, Petty showcased his ability to also operate as an efficient point guard for his team as he promoted good ball control, consistent passing and smart shots. The rising junior also made a huge impact defensively, diving in for the ball and getting physical on the other end. Petty and his teammates on Nova Village 16U’s roster will be worth keeping an eye on as the event on Saturday morning.
