The event which is a staple of the June HS month, is an exposure event designed to identify potential Sleepers and Stockrisers for the upcoming HS season. Needless to say, getting all these players under one roof is going to make that much more realistic. Let’s look at some potential Sleepers at the event.
I have been watching Givens growth througout the season both figuratively and literally he is well over 6’2 with long arms. He got a taste of action on Arbor’s JV this year, and is developing into another piece for what is becoming one of the most talented programs in town. He is a player with terrific positional size, looking for him to use that and his shooting at the Team Camp.
Onykekonye could pop at the event. The forward has size and showed a little athleticism during the Spring League. If what he did translates into a tournament format, then it’s going to provide terrific insight into what type of player the Rams will be getting for the 2023-24 season.
The more I think about it, the more I start to believe you can characterize Lewis’ athleticsm as spectacular. He dosen’t always know where he’s going, but he gets there quickly and with explosion. If he continues to develop his skill, he could be a player that takes everyone by suprise. The Team Camp will be a great first step for the bouncy 2026.
It’s been a minute since I’ve laid eyes on Schwallie, but the Team Camp will be the perfect opportunity to do so. The long armed guard has a good frame, and may be more suited to a summer style game. He could be a player that performs higher than his 92nd class ranking.
It’s rare that 2A schools compete in Team Camps against Larger programs, so I’m excited to have Lake Mead Participating. Even more excited to check out the sharp shooting class of 2026 PG Cummins. He looks bigger, and has added a handle and some wiggle to his game. This will be a fabolous opportunity for him to test himself against terrific competition, don’t be suprised if he has a game or two where he bangs home 3 or 4 threes.
Vegas is in the event, so I’ll get a chance to watch Wilson let if fly. He’s been playing against some good competition on the AAU circuit and has shown the ability get his shot off against athletic defenders. Vegas is going to need scoring help for All World PG

, Wilson could be a prime canidate.
I liked what I saw from Tyler when I saw him play during the April Bash. The pass first PG showed a strong handle, and the ability to get into the paint. PG is defintely a postion coach Crunk will have to replace going into the next season, Tyler just may use the Team Camp as his audition.
