Xavier Johnson Xavier Johnson 6’5″ | PG Fayetteville Academy | 2024 State NC is a name that continues to climb up the radar and has certainly earned himself a spot in the rankings when the 2024 class updates on June 1. He’s an aggressive combo guard prospect that’s shown he can knock down shots on the perimeter and facilitate in the backcourt when the ball is in his hands. He’s an emerging name to get to know out of Fayetteville that’s running with Team Wall on the grassroots scene. At 6-foot-5, he’s certainly a prospect for college coaches on the DI and DII scene to get eyes on.

Ryan MacKinnon Ryan MacKinnon 6’5″ | SG Choate Rosemary Hall | 2024 State NC is a recent mover into the 2024 class headed to Choate Rosemary Hall that’ll be worth keeping an eye on given his development on the wing and on the perimeter. He’s a prospect that’s shown he can knock down shots at volume on the perimeter and be an impact prospect in the paint as a defender and rebounder. He’s slowly coming into his own in the Flight 22 rotation with his exploits on the hardwood.
Paul Jones Paul Jones 6’4″ | CG Combine Academy | 2024 State NC is an emerging name to get to know in the 2024 class since earning offers from Ohio, Radford and American have extended offers his way. He’s a strong two-way presence that can attack the rim and knock down shots at volume while defending at a high level using his athleticism and wiry length. He’ll be a new face to keep track of in the 2024 class in North Carolina over at Combine Academy in 2023-24.

Quay Watson Quay Watson 6’0″ | CG Hopewell | 2024 State NC is holding his own for Team United on the EYBL scene through the first three sessions. He’s currently a top presence in their backcourt this season as he’s producing 11.3 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.2 apg and 2.0 spg through 11 appearances with his squad. He’s coming off his best performance as well after finishing with 25 points on 9/13 FG, 3/5 3-PT and 4/4 FT along with six rebounds, four steals and three assists to show off his growth in the backcourt in an overtime victory. He’s a heady guard that can shoot it (30.8 percent from 3-PT) from deep and worth more eyes in the 2024 class.

Sean Birmingham Sean Birmingham 6’8″ | CG Concord Academy | 2024 State #215 Nation NC is a wiry wing prospect that can hold his own on the perimeter as a shotmaker and playmaker with Team Curry on the grassroots scene currently. He ran with The Cannon School during the high school season and remains to be an under-the-radar prospect among college coaches given his prowess as an operator off the bounce and off the catch. He’s a name to get to know given his length and abilities on the hardwood.
