So, for this update, we’ll show who made big jumps prior to the new additions.
London Burton London Burton 6'0" | SG Aquinas | 2025 State KS , 6-foot shooting guard, 2025, Aquinas – #7 from #9 (three spots prior to additions):
It’s tough to move at all when you’re in the top 10. The super-athletic Burton was bumped up three spots from #9 to #6, only to be nudged back by the insertion of Olathe South’s Nic Anderson Nic Anderson 6'3" | SF Olathe South | 2025 State KS at #6. But don’t feel bad for Burton. He’s in fine company. His move up rewarded his contribution to Aquinas: 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists as the leader of a group of talented sophomores.
Barrett Moddelmog Barrett Moddelmog 6'3" | SG Moundridge | 2025 State KS , 6-foot-3 small forward, 2025, Moundridge – #14 from #27 (fifteen spots prior to additions):
The big riser this spring, Moddelmog went clear up to #12, before being bumped down by Anderson and Kapaun’s Corbin Johnson Corbin Johnson 6'4" | PG Kapaun Mt Carmel | 2025 State KS . Still, he made the biggest jump. That’s what happens when you make the buzzer-beater to send your team to the state championship. And that’s what happens when you finish on top of 2A. And that’s what happens when you average 16 points and 5.5 rebounds on the season.
Daniel Cramer Daniel Cramer 5'10" | CG Dighton | 2025 State KS , 5-foot-9 point combo guard, 2025, Dighton – #34 from #36 (six spots prior to additions):
Cramer was the most decorated player in the 2025 class. He earned first team from all four major outlets – KSHSAA, Sports in Kansas, the Wichita Eagle and the KBCA. It’s tough to top his stat line: 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. His move from #36 to #34 may not look impressive, but he jumped six spots before we slotted in a handful of guys ahead of him.
Ty Romero Ty Romero 6'5" | PG Elyria Christian | 2025 State KS , 6-foot-2 small forward, 2025, Elyria Christian – #35 from #39 (eight spots prior to additions):
Like Cramer, don’t focus on the four slots he jumped. Look at the eight he leapfrogged prior to the new adds. His 17 points, 6 boards, 2 assists and 2 steals earned him first team from Sports in Kansas and third team from KSHSAA and Wichita Eagle. He’s a long, smooth playmaker from the forward spot who deserves to be known beyond the small school circuit.
