Tyrel Pride Tyrel Pride 6'0" | PG Tartan | 2026 State MN — PG — Powerhouse MN
Pride played an awesome game on Saturday morning. The Powerhouse Minnesota power forward was electric on offense. It really didn’t matter who was standing in front of him, Pride found ways to get buckets. As a slasher, the PG is incredible. He has a quick first step and very tight handle. He is also very shifty. He does a really good job at getting defenders off-balance and attacking the rim. Around the paint, Pride has proven to be an elite finisher. He is much more than just a slasher, though. Pride is also dangerous as a shooter.
Cameron Cordero — PG — Beyond The Game
Even though his team didn’t earn a victory on Saturday morning, Cordero proved to be a very good floor general. I love how active he is as a leader. No matter the situation, Cordero is always directing traffic and getting his teammates organized. He is a really good ball-handler and an excellent passer. Cordero also has proven to be an effective shooter from long range. I was very impressed with Cordero’s play on Saturday morning.
Abakar Miganoudji — PF — Beyond The Game
I see a lot of potential in Miganoudji. The Beyond The Game power forward stands at 6-foot-5 and pairs solid athleticism with great positional size. He started Saturday’s game playing really aggressively. He drew an early foul and recorded an eye-opening chase-down block. He still is very young and raw. However, if Miganoudji is able to continue to improve his games, his physical attributes could allow him to find success at the college level.
Sean Howard — SF — Iowa Prep
The modern game of basketball is played beyond the three-point line — this is just a reality. Prospects that can step outside and drain long-range shots are much more likely to find success. Howard has proven himself as an elite three-point shooter. The small forward pairs great positional size with a soft shooting touch. Although he still has a long way to go in his development, Howard certainly showed promise on Saturday.
Victor Ward — G — Iowa Prep
Prospects like Ward are my favorite type of players to watch. Even though he doesn’t have a ton of size or athetisism, Ward still finds a way to get it done. It just seems like Ward always finds a way to make the right basketball play. He does such a good job on both ends of the court. He plays tough defense and is very opportunistic as a scorer. Ward turned heads on Saturday morning.
Colton Miller — SF — Northstar Titans
In a blowout win for the Northstar Titans, Miller was dominant. I really loved how the small forward wasted no time. From the opening tip off, Miller was aggressive as a scorer. He finished with 28 total points, 20 of which came in the first half. Miller finished around the bucket really well on Saturday. I also thought that he did an awesome job of getting his teammates involved. Even though he put up a significant amount of points, Miller didn’t take bad shots.
