Continue ReadingFew players across the state have gained as much momentum as Wilson has in the past two months. Playing up with the 17u Georgia Stars, Wilson has been carrying the scoring load and showcasing a wide array of offensive skills. He’s grown into a consistent and reliable shooter, able to space the floor and knock down open shots. North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, and Arizona State have all offered in recent weeks.
Jake Taylor has taken the reigns of OTP’s 17u squad, running the point effectively and showing out against some great 2024 guards. There’s a lot of skill and finesse to Taylor’s game and he can pour it in from all three levels. On top of his scoring ability, he’s a good facilitator and knows how to setup his teammates for open looks. With a couple of strong spring outings, Taylor is rising in stock and making an argument for one of the top guards in the class.
Highlights
Thomas has been steadily rising in stock ever since the high school season began but it’s now ramping up more than ever. Running with EYA Sports, Thomas has scored the ball at a high clip all spring long. At 6’7, Thomas can elevate to get his jumper off over contesting hands and he loves to shoot the mid-range whether it be pull-ups or turn-arounds. With so much potential and some excellent shooting ability, I wouldn’t be surprised if his recruitment took off sooner than later.
Caleb Thomas Caleb Thomas 5’10” | PG Pebblebrook | 2025 State GA put on the TSF jersey this spring and has been tearing it up so far, providing the electric point guard play that he’s known for. Thomas is on the shorter end at 5’9 but his quickness gives him an advantage of his own, able to blow past defenders in the open floor and navigate in traffic with his handle. I think the next step for Thomas is incorporating his outside shot more and if he can do that effectively, I think he’s a D1 guard prospect despite the odds at his size.

Dylan Barbra
Dylan Barbra has been generating a lot of buzz amongst coaches and scouts this spring, adding two early offers from George Mason and North Greenville. Barbra is a smooth athlete at 6’5 and has the physical tools already. He shoots the three-ball well and can attack off the dribble against poor closeouts.
